This is my ds, Dan (one of the twins) last Friday in the "house" that he built at the Career Center. Hard to believe that this 6' tall high school junior was once this little cutie:He's the one on the right on the gate and the one in the large oval in the center.
Thanks! Here's a more appropriate photo--Dan's the one in front:(it is SO appropriate that Nate is on the phone. He's been racking up over 1000 minutes/month on his cell phone with his girlfriend)
OK - so he is much taller, but he is still cute! What a great experience to build this while in HS.

I didn't mean to imply that my guy wasn't still cute--just that he wasn't LITTLE any more. It will never cease to amaze me that he started life (outside the womb) at 5 lb 1 oz.
Cool!! I love the construction photo below with Nate on the phone - you should do a layout about how some things never change

Send him over here, please. My kitchen is being redone right now. They are in the middle of laying tile.
Another odd coincidence in the toddler photo--Jon currently cannot decide what he wants to study in college or even any idea of what he wants for a career much like he seems undecisive in the photo with a hammer in one hand and a screwdriver in the other. I loved the all of the photos from the shoot which the photograper did in our house (because the boys cried through the whole session at his studio). I couldn't decide on one so I bought all the proofs.
Wow, Trina........he's gotten so GROWN UP!!!!!! You're proud and a little sad, all at the same time, eh?
They grow up so Fast! It always makes me think of "Sunrise, Sunset" from Fiddler on the Roof. Hang in there, mom!Is this the little girl I carried?
Is this the little boy at play?
I don't remember growing older
When did they?
When did she get to be a beauty?
When did he get to be so tall?
Wasn't it yesterday
When they were small?
Sunrise, sunset
Sunrise, sunset
Swiftly flow the days
Seedlings turn overnight to sunflowers
Blossoming even as we gaze
Sunrise, sunset
Sunrise, sunset
Swiftly fly the years
One season following another
Laden with happiness and tears

So true and I love that song. Its such an amazing time--so many emotions from all of us.A group of 7 moms from school started getting together for dinner last month. We had our second dinner last night and spent most of our time talking about the struggles and joys of raising teens and young adults. It was so good to have that time to share.
