Hey Cherries!!!

WE HAVE WATER!!!!!!! At last!!! It was a hard won battle but it feels like we’re finally going to be able to work on the rest of the house soon. We only have cold water for a few days. He has to do something to get the hot water heater working. I wonder which one of us will get the first tank! Lolol! He wants a bath in the BIG tub and I want a nice long HOT shower without having it go ice cold on me in a few minutes. What luxuries! Hahaha!

Otherwise things are normal. After finding our injured chicken Spot walking into the living room we decided to let her out. She had been eating and was going all over the place so she was ready. She also laid 3 eggs!!! We were a bit worried about the others picking on her but we kept an eye and when they started we stopped them. Thankfully they got the message quickly!

I finished a layout last night. Want to do my class layout today. New class starts tomorrow!

Hope you’re all having a wonderful weekend!
Congrats ...so happy for you that you have water  😊

Hey Cherries. I slept in this morning. Even the doggies slept in, which is amazing for Skylar. We all had a great time last night with DD and family. My step grandson, other step grandson and his girlfriend and the baby came too. We had pizza and wings delivered and hung out and colored eggs. My son in law built a fire in the fire pit and some of them hung out in the yard for a while. Twinkie and Sky had a blast and I don’t know if I’ve ever seen them so tired. Sky not waking me up early to feed her speaks volumes as to how tied they were. Lol. Today we are headed for 79 degrees! Woo hoo! I’ll be outside for a while for sure, but also want to work on the layout that I started the other day.

Hope you all have a great day.
Sounds like such a nice evening with your family!!

Good morning Barb. Glad y'all had a wonderful time yesterday. Pizza and wings sound super yummy!

I too slept in this morning. A little after 8am. Got everything done yesterday that I needed to get done - laundr, cleaned bathrooms, swept/mopped the floors, made the lemon cake and the deviled eggs. Even divided up some chicken I bought on Thursday and put them in smaller vacuseal packs. Showered and then took the rest of the day off. Caught up on some shows, and made an easy dinner for the 2 of us. Went to be a little later than usual.

Now I'm just relaxing with my coffee. Will take my shower soon and start getting ready. Headed to my brother and SIL's house at 11:30. If we're FB friends, BOLO for photos of the boys! :)

Hope everyone has a great day.
Hope your having a wonderful time!  Headed to FB for the pics!

Re: Scrap a Day, April 19th
Very sunny and upper 70’s today but for some reason I’m still cold.  Oh well lol I put on a fleece vest and that helps.  Washed my hair and fixing to plant the last of the tomatoes and the flowers today.  Hopefully nice and warm in the sun.

dinner tomorrow isn’t until 6pm  but thinking get up early and make pies before putting the ham in the oven.  Had hoped  to cook it in the crockpot but couldn’t get a small enough ham.  Oh well!  So ham, scalloped potatoes, fruit salad, green beans with bacon, dinner rolls and pie.   Only 6 of us and youngest is 55 years old but my sons, BIL and 93 year old aunt eat like lumberjacks.  They can really put it away.

have an adventurous Saturday.

Sounds like a lovely time!  Yay, for sleeping in.  We are cold with furnace back on!  We just had 90s with A/C on the other day!  LOL

Good morning Cherries. Spent the morning catching up on challenge love and now starting the prep for Easter dinner tomorrow.  This year we decided to order food as I did a party a couple weeks ago that I cooked for and was wiped out. My ODS and girlfriend are coming so looking forward to that. Will definitely be scrapping this afternoon after household chores. Need to get my NSD examples made. Sooooo looking forward to that weekend. Have a great day everyone  😊

I hear ya, Kristin!  We ordered for the first time ever too.

Re: Scrap a Day, April 19th
Hi Cherries.  I am doing well!  Even cherry picking, or Egg hunting. LOL. 250 a day! Whahoo!

I am still in a sling, in fact until, Middle of May!  So, when I’d NSD? First of May?

I haven’t much pain, but just uncomfortable and awkward!
Good news a is that I have been getting Happy mail from some crafty friends of mine with card kits, that I only have to glue together.  So I will be able to put some cards together for my May birthdays.  Maybe even card challenges for NSD.

just thought I would check in.  Still here, in my recliner. LOL.
