Wow I thought I was the only one. I have even been known to "clone it out" on a digital paper! One of the perks of digital lol.trainmom wrote: ↑Thu Apr 17, 2025 2:27 pmYes on the text and script also. Sometime I used them to mat photos or put mixed media on top of the text, or something else so it doesn't show.pawprints wrote: ↑Thu Apr 17, 2025 1:46 pmtrainmom wrote: ↑Thu Apr 17, 2025 8:02 amI am a realist so I don’t use papers that are themed wrong. I won’t use a paper with the Eiffel Tower unless I went to Paris. I won’t use stamp embellishments unless they are from the right place. I have a map of Long Island on a tropical paper, looks pretty but that doesn’t work for me.
This is me. And even more than that I don't like random text or script on my papers and embellishments. Unless it says something relevant to my theme it is a big turn off for me.

I'm another literal scrapper. Sounds like there are a bunch of us!
For me, the turn-off is a cream base to patterned paper (vs. white). I prefer the crisp look of white. Also, if you're combining supplies from different manufacturers, creams are so hard to match.

YAASSS! Stupid mushrooms! Why? Lol They're weird. I get a beautiful ephemera pile of leaves and flowers and then ugh, there's the mushrooms!stinkerbelle wrote: ↑Sun Jan 07, 2024 11:23 ami agree about the holographic. i wasn't a fan when i was 12 and definitely not now. hopefully American Crafts has moved past that, because for at least 2 years it was in every.single.collection they produced.
and i can't believe i forgot to mention mushrooms! i hate mushrooms! i don't eat them, i'm sure not scrapping with them. and they look very phallic to me, eww.
