You’re amazing Brandy! You don’t feel well yet you’ve made several different kinds of treats for the fur babies, done laundry, and dusted. That’s a LOT for some people when they don’t feel well!!!! I hope you feel better really soon. And hope work takes it easy on you!!!blbabe1234 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 09, 2025 10:54 amGood morning cherries. Wow....that IS cold! We woke up to 50 and now it's already 65 and our high will be inching towards 90. Still low humidity and lots of sunshine.
Slow moving for me. I didn't feel well at ALL last night. Stomach issues...totally drained. Felt like cr@p. Went to bed early, shut my alarm off and slept for an extra hour this morning. No longer exhausted...but still got a sour stomach, on top of a headache. Drank some peppermint tea last night and had a piece of toast this morning.
Haven't gone on my walk nor done my gentle yoga and core exercistes. Will try to do that later if I'm up to it. I did strip the bed and got the sheets going in the dryer. Dusted our bedroom and was in the kitchen earlier making some doggie treats. Tried 2 new recipes that I saw on Instagram. All of them using just 4 ingredients. One you pour into molds and freeze for a few hrs (greek yogurt, honey, pumpkin, and bone broth). The other one is a no-bake cookie that's now chilling in the fridge (PB, Pumpkin, Coconut Oil, and Oats). And while I was at it, made them a batch of "barkies"......PB and Banana cookies.
Now I'm at my desk, about to get started with work.
Hope everyone has a great day.

Charleneanne, fresh tomatoes are the BEST!!! Hope you find out what kind of flower you found! Have fun planting!!!!Charleneanne wrote: ↑Wed Apr 09, 2025 1:22 pmHazy blue skies, no breeze, sunny today and 80 for a high. But still cool in the house when I got up.
Made it to Home Depot finally yesterday. Spent a whole lot of $$. Came home and put everything away. Then planted the new cacti and quit for the day cause by then my back was bothering me. Today will plant the pansy’s and this beautiful red flower I got without actually knowing what it is! lol. My DS will know what it’s called I’m sure. Then get the tomato barrels out of the shed and set up on edge of patio and get those planted as well.
I used to plant a huge veggie garden. DH built me raised garden boxes in one corner of the yard. It was pretty neat but during the years I cared for him, there just wasn’t time for much of anything else so gardening went away. After he died, I wasn’t interested and disassembled the boxes. 2-3 years ago I started wanting fresh tomatoes from the backyard again. My boys got me some big wooden 1/2 barrels and I have a patio garden. lol
Have a wonderful Wednesday.

Hi Cherries! It’s another grey day today. So far no rain but it could happen anytime. It’s Steve’s birthday but we don’t really have plans. I can’t bake him cookies or anything because he’s not supposed to have carbs or sugar.
So at his request I’m making a shrimp and fish chowder tonight.
I still have cleaning projects I still need to do. One at a time. Tomorrow is town day so I need to get lists together for that. Hoping I can play tonight.
Have a great day everyone!!!

Thank you Ginni. I did have energy and as long as I was standing up, my stomach and head weren't bothering me. It's weird. THe moment I sit down, my stomach bothers me. My headache is lingering but I think that is due to allergies. We have pollen EVERYWHERE. Everytime I walk outside I can feel my sinuses clench up, I'm coughin and got the watery eyes. My stomach issues might be due taking meds. Who knows.....GinniG wrote: ↑Wed Apr 09, 2025 2:03 pmYou’re amazing Brandy! I did have some chicken and dumplings and a few saltines for my stomach. It's alot better than it was last night, thank goodness.
Work has been quiet, so that's helpful. And the furbabies all have happy tummies. Just like kids and husbands (

Tell me about it. We are not even hitting 50 today. We're at 46 and that is the high for the day. Ugh.VickiR wrote: ↑Wed Apr 09, 2025 11:23 amWhere are the Spring temps? I would settle for 55 right now.pawprints wrote: ↑Wed Apr 09, 2025 9:47 amHey Cherries. Geez it’s still cold here. We had wind chills in the teens overnight and this morning. Ugh. I worked on cleaning up
my desk and tables in my office yesterday. It’s worse than cleaning up my scrap room. Going to continue on with that today.
Have a great day Cherries.

Today was a state testing day = one of the most boring days for a teacher. Sigh...I used to never have to monitor tests. Today I had to monitor for 3 kids! It was such a waste of my time, and they would've been fine in another classroom with a few more kids. smh
But, at least I got to come home and scrap! For the Hollywood Movie challenge, combined with the Manufacturer with a Twist.

Your upset tummy could be from all that sinus drainage Brandy. If you suspect the meds make sure you eat because it does happen. Glad work is slow and the fur babies love their treats !!! Cats are so finicky. More for the puppies!blbabe1234 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 09, 2025 3:29 pmThank you Ginni. I did have energy and as long as I was standing up, my stomach and head weren't bothering me. Work has been quiet, so that's helpful. And the furbabies all have happy tummies. Just like kids and husbands () they get to sample anytime something is ready. So they each had a "barkie" and one no-bake cookie. Jasmine isn't fond of the frozen treat, but Penny and Shelby enjoyed them.
