It’s WAY too early for the high heat and humidity!!! Hopefully it will cool off soon!!! A nap sounds great too!blbabe1234 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 04, 2025 12:23 pmGood morning cherries! Still being busy. Wish it would cool down some as I'm not ready for high humidity and temps above 95 yet but here we are. LOL.
Up early to do an upgrade for my client instead of putting it off for the weekend or trying to do it on Monday. Started the dishwasher, vacummed the living room, cleaned bathrooms, swept/mopped the floors and did my exercise before taking a shower. Whew...I'm kind of tired now....I might call it a day after 2pm (my client closes early on Friday's).
DH's aunt and uncle are in Houston this weekend, so earlier this morning, they brought their doggie Sophie over. She's been here numerous times already and get along with my girls and Jackson.
Work is easy so far - just finishing up some emails from yesterday and getting started on little things. I'm ready for a nap, though. Might actually do that....
Hope everyone has a great day.

Have fun making cards!!! Your weather sounds great!Charleneanne wrote: ↑Fri Apr 04, 2025 1:59 pmSunny, bright blue skies, slight breeze and 70’s today. 80’s next week. Currently no rain in the long range 45 day forecast. Winter may b over here!
nothing on the agenda today. Foiled 5-6 card fronts yesterday so might get some more bday cards done today. I let my stash get down to almost none of bday cards.
have a fabulous Friday

How adorable is your layout and JJ's response to alerting you about her show. I was just talking to a neighbor who was going to her grandchild's art show. I remember when Emma and Paige were younger and we'd go to their different shows. I miss those days!pawprints wrote: ↑Fri Apr 04, 2025 8:19 amHey Cherries. I’m up early today as I need to be at JJ’s school at 10:00 to see her class presentation on the Solar System. She told me last month to make sure I go to her school on April 4th. Lol. So I’m getting ready to go to. On the way home I need to make a Costco run, then this afternoon I have a doctor appointment. Just a follow up GI appointment. I got my music challenge up last night and this is the layout that I did for it.
Have a great day Cherries.

Looks like a good day to stay in and craft...just like every other day.
Not the kind of alarm clock you want to use to wake up!!! It's a gorgeous day here.

Have fun at the game tonight. I heard the Phillies' home opener was kind of a bust but as I've learned, you can't believe everything you read on the internet. We've been watching the Phillies faithfully until they start playing on the west coast and the games don't start until after our bedtime.scrappinmom99 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 04, 2025 9:35 amToday is opening day at the stadium and I'm working. THere's going to be a full house and I'm already exhausted lol. I've been trying to get ahead of my freelancing as well as house stuff but that hasn't happened. Also this week is DD's play at school and she's the stage manager so she's been getting home real late every night. We are going to see it tomorrow and it's the last one. I have the supplies out for a birthday card for one of her friends & just haven't been able to get it done. Maybe I can squeeze it in tomorrow between a grocery delivery and her play lol.
Glad your procedures went well!!FoxyStamping wrote: ↑Fri Apr 04, 2025 10:52 amHi! I am. Here! Well, in a recliner. LOL. No motivation whatsoever! LOL. Everything went well. When they go into everything, they also had to repair my bicep. Checked in 7:30. Tuesday,. They took me to surgery at ten, in my room having soup at 2:40. Home by noon on Wednesday. Overall pretty good experience. Excellent facilities and staff. Today no pain, so quit the pain pills. Did my pt and hubby helped with sponge bath. Feeling pretty good, just doing nothing! It makes me tired just typing. I underestimated what I wouldn’t be able to do!
Don't even feel like cherry hunting! I do PT 5-6 Xs a day.
great LO of your dog, Barb! And thank you for the GC!
Hey Cherries! Our weather has changed. It’s grey. The wind was howling a little bit ago but has died down now. But it’s supposed to storm tonight. We could use the rain…. Hoping I can do SOMETHING productive today!
We ALMOST had water in the kitchen sink yesterday. Steve got a smaller pump from somewhere and it gave us a trickle but wasn’t strong enough to push it all the way upstairs.
BUT we know it works! So that’s a good thing!
Have a great day Cherries!!!!

MTCanuk wrote: ↑Fri Apr 04, 2025 12:19 pmWell, the sun is at least shining this morning! Praise be! My gosh though—- it was a whopping 18 degrees when I got up this morning. It snowed all day yesterday and we have snow still on the ground. I am so over it all! Thankful for the moisture. Hurry up spring!
Heading out to run a few errands. Then home to Scrap and work on challenges. Put DH in charge of dinner. He says where do you want to go. Me- no where. Just Chez Barrow’s! Hope it will warm up some so I can walk.
Happy Friday!
I hope it warms up for you, Leslee! Hopefully you can scrap after all those errands!
I hope you got to knock off work early and get a nap in, Brandy!blbabe1234 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 04, 2025 12:23 pmGood morning cherries! Still being busy. Wish it would cool down some as I'm not ready for high humidity and temps above 95 yet but here we are. LOL.

Made it through the day on a little sleep. lol Crashing hard tonight! Sunday, my civic sorority does its biggest fundraiser...kitchen bingo! We have sold 350 tickets for ladies (mostly) to play bingo and win kitchen appliances.
It is a lot of work, but we raise about $20,000 in one weekend for cancer research!
