Hey Cherries 😊
It's warmed up to at LEAST 60 here! I was able to do laundry yesterday and get it hung up, with Zach's help!
He also helped me through out some heavy bags and boxes of junk, ESPECIALLY stuff from my bedroom! IT FEELS so good to get junk outta here, even if it's a little at a time! 😊 I may put layouts on the walls in my bedroom!
I had therapy at 5, and my friend came by to hang out, too! He brought me gifts like apples and wafer cookies and is STILL being a gentleman and it's VERY nice to have that companionship! I mean I've been telling him for years now that he's my best friend here- it's another blessing to have such a good friend close by!
I'm working at 4 today - evenings all week but I don't mind! I'm getting enough hours on the clock- that's another blessing right there! 😊
I'm STILL looking over all these new challenges and WOW!! I'm for sure inspired! 😊
Stay blessed, Dear Cherries 🍒 ❤️

Good that you are getting some help moving stuff around.  A good friend is always a blessing.

Good morning cherries. Spring and Summer are wanting custody of South Texas. Decent temps in the morning, lots of wind and sun and pollen EVERYWHERE. Then we've got our high temps - above 95 with heat indexes creeping up towards 105. All in one day....

Been a busy bee here lately. Yesterday, I had Terminix here at 9am to do our quarterly spraying. Work was 😜 All.Day. Emails just wouldn't stop. Then at 2pm, I headed over to my SIL's house to watch Draven, Wesley and Anton so she could take Jasper to his pulmonologist appt. It's Intercession this week, so no school. Draven was chatty, and both Wes and Anton were showing me their toys. They were watching Aladdin when I got there. I told Draven that I used to watch that movie with his dad when we were younger. He was like "No way!"..Yes way! LOL. Wes passed out on the couch at 3:30 and Anton followed 20 mins later. So it was quiet as Draven is pretty good and can just "chill". Jasper had a really great appt. His Pulmonologist has officially released him. So no more f/ups unless necessary. Woo-hoo! He got to pick out a toy at the dr's office, so he came home with a brand new Hot Wheel :)

I got home at 5pm and finished up some work emails then just relaxed the rest of the evening. We had leftover venison burgers from Saturday and I made some hobo fries. I was exhausted when I went to bed and didn't really want to get up with my alarm this morning but I did, knowing I still had some things I needed to get done for work that I didn't get to yesterday. Luckily I was done with all of that by 9am. Still went on my walk and did my yoga/core exercises this morning. Already washed bed sheets and got the dishwasher started.

Hope everyone has a great day. :)
Those boys are just the cutest!!  Our GKs laugh in disbelief when I tell them their mom had the same movies they watch.

Hey Cherries! One last somewhat sunny day before a week of rain again. But April showers bring May flowers right?! lol!  We could still get snow but it shouldn’t stick around. We’ve been hovering in the high 40s and low 50s. SO much better than the freezing weather!!!

Not much happening today. Steve is still working on the water system. We thought we’d have cold water to the kitchen sink a few days ago but it turned out the pump has a crack in a weld so now we have to wait for a new pump. Not supposed to be here until the 18th… So we trudge along… But hopefully in the meantime he can get all of the other systems hooked up and the floor shored up so the weight of the water tank doesn’t do bad things. If he can when the new pump comes we will have ALL of the water systems working! Oh how wonderful that will be!!! Just a matter of time. lol!

My knee is better but I still have to be careful. After a bit of adulting I can maybe play!

Have a great day Cherries!!!!
Take it easy on that knee!  Glad it is feeling better.  We are expecting rain for the next few days also.

Good afternoon!  I am working on my scrap room. I know I've been saying that for months but I am determined to get everything off the floor and dining room table so I can be ready for NSD. It's probably going to take me a full month since I don't move as quickly as even last year.

LOL, Chris! 🤣 I told myself that I should have all my craft stuff organized by NSD! 😂 😂 😂

55 and very windy...again!  I did some retail therapy this morning while DH mowed and did some yardwork.  Found some fun items for the grandkids Easter baskets.  The older they get, the more difficult it is.  I am going to add a few gift cards and an item or two of clothing that they want.  Having a teen DGD is taking me back to when our girls were that age.

They grow so fast, don't they?! 😄
