Finished my first layout today....scrapping on a rainy day is the best! For the March 3 in a row combined with the Cherry Lift:

Thank you, Barb! Have you been to the new Digital Artistry website? It took the place of The Digital Scrapbooking Studio. Aimee Harrison is giving away this free kit if you create a layout for her Mini Kit challenge with it.pawprints wrote: ↑Sat Mar 15, 2025 3:01 pmThis is gorgeous Laura!Art_Teacher wrote: ↑Sat Mar 15, 2025 1:15 pmGot awakened by Miss Eliza Doodle at 5:45 am when a huge thunderstorm rolled through. Another busy morning for me...day 4 this week with one or both of the DGKs. Up and out at 8 to take DGD for dance photos. She dances modern and jazz so two sets of pictures today spaced in with all of the littles to older girls. Photos were from 9AM until 12noon. I got home at 1:15 and had a light lunch. Right now, I'm recouping from this past week. I want to finish organizing albums later today and DT project I have started for the second half of April. Cloudy and overcast here and we had rain last night! Wasn't in the forecast, but welcome since DH put Preen in the flower beds yesterday.

We had some rain last night that was predicted but sure was welcome! It's so dry here and our local fire company is putting out field/grass fires around the clock. Tomorrow is a big weather day for us as the storms are supposed to blow through here. Stay safe!! Glad you got more hours at work!JollyHollyScraps wrote: ↑Sat Mar 15, 2025 10:34 amHey Cherries![]()
Slightly cooler day, lower 60s I think. STILL better than freezing!![]()
We were supposed to have had storms last night, with more storms today.. I haven't checked the weather yet to see the updates. I remember it was starting to rain when I fell asleep but I slept Soo good I don't remember waking up to wind or anything! LOL! So lucky there!
We're in for MORE storms today though.
I've gotten MORE hours at work and am working this evening for another cashier! The PRAYERS ARE WORKING, CHERRIES!!![]()
I've ALSO been scheduled extra hours on the new schedule so that ALSO makes me feel good!

I actually had the time wrong yesterday and went to work two hours latethey let me make up my time though!!
They're REALLY good to me at my job and that's part of why I stay there and keep going back. Other jobs in the past would have at least written me up you know? So, I'm JUST REALLY counting ALL my blessings!
I was able to buy groceries AND pay a bill last night without going completely broke AND that feels good, too!
I saw that beautiful blood moon last night! It made me miss Omer a little and I wrote him a letter in my journal. I JUST KNOW he's watching over us! I JUST KNOW it!![]()
I have a LOT of notifications as I never got back here yesterday lol I was tired after work!![]()
Stay blessed, Dear Cherries![]()

Wow, good for you working ahead! National Scrapbook Day is May 3 this year!FoxyStamping wrote: ↑Sat Mar 15, 2025 11:30 amI have all my cards made for April and just have to address and sign them. 16! Most, I will just hand to them at church, but have several to mail. Now, I want to catch up on scrapbooking, then clean my room. I want everything in order in here for while I am recovering from surgery. Did I tell you I love my new Big Switch Plus. I don't know if that is what made a difference in less pain or if it is the Tylenol for Arthritis but seem to be feeling better. I have high hopes of being healed enough to do NSD. Does anyone know when in May it is?
Happy Saturday!

Good for you, Kristin!!aheatfan wrote: ↑Sat Mar 15, 2025 12:23 pmHappy Saturday Cherries. Slept in a bit this morning, was wiped out from the week. Got in a hour workout already...what used to be an unwelcome chore is now becoming something I look forward to. Never thought that would happen!! Trying to get as strong as I can before knee surgery in June. So looking forward to going to Charleston soon. Lots of walking so working hard for that too. Hoping to scrap a bit tomorrow. Have a great day everyone
Nerd Fact. lol
Beware The IDEs of March!
Which is really just the middle of the month which nobody paid attention to until William Shakespeare wrote his play about the murder of Julius Caesar making March 15 infamous apparently forever.
In between storms just now. I think the next one is late tonight or maybe tomorrow night. It’s hazy blue grey cloudy cold lol.
No plans today. Thinking just maybe do a couple challenges from here or maybe sit on sofa watching the weather out the window. I don’t even have to cook tonight. Leftover beef stew and biscuits from last night.
have a safe and enjoyable day.

Finished a second layout for the March Graphic Design challenge (inspired by the Cheezit ad).
DH and I are going out to dinner to a nearby pub, because it has been a yucky, rainy day, and I don't want to cook!
