Today is our last day out in Seattle with the DD and her husband. It’s very nice out , although rain predicted later. Going out for pancakes. We did get to visit with Curtis’ step mum. And I braved Costco with the DD yesterday. Pretty chill weekend and back on the road in the morning.
Sounds like you’re enjoying your visits Leslee! Safe travels home!

Hey Cherries 😊
RIP that extra hour of sleep! 😂 I laid down early to read because I knew morning would come earlier lol I stayed up too late reading maybe but that is what happens sometimes! 😉
I'm working 12-7 for a friend today; so grateful to have these extra hours! Bills don't stop and then there's everything else we have to pay for LoL wish my cats would get jobs but maybe mousing is enough! 😉😜
I'm in a silly mood lol!
I worked on a collage yesterday and it was fun to work on for sure! I have other bits to add to it, and I warped the paper a little bit. I might have to flatten it down a bit before I can continue. STILL, it's fun! It JUST feels good to get artsy craftsy again! Omer would DEFINITELY approve! 😉 I'm looking forward to a craftier month for sure! 😊
Stay blessed, Cherries! 🍒 ❤️

Anxious to see your final collage page!

Re: Scrap a Day, March 9th
Hey Cherries! Grandson Joe (10) and his dad are here. Dad leaves tomorrow morning and Joe stays for a few days. He loves being over here where he can help with the birds and go fishing in the lagoon and be outside. He will talk your ears off though! Lolol!!! It’s nonstop! Kinda makes me crazy but it’s okay. He’s really sweet.

Not quite sure what’s on my agenda today. The guys are going work on moving heavy things and getting firewood. I have a layout started so hopefully I can finish it.

Have a great Sunday!!!

Happy Sunday Cherries. I definitely slept in this morning.  About once very 3 months I have a weekend when I just crash.  Body tells me it is time to rest and sleep. Went to bed at 8. slept until 7.

Had a great visit with ODS and SO yesterday.  He is so busy now that he has changed fire departments. I am so happy for him, this is a MUCH better department.  In the process of putting together a "fire" album just for his career.

I will be scrapping today and putting some thought into packing for our upcoming vacation to Charleston. Can, Not, Wat!!!!

Glad you got some rest

Hey Cherries. Boy I miss that extra hour. Ugh. But it will be nice when it is still light out later this evening. Yesterday I did a lot in my scrap room. I had post it notes all over the place on a lot of the drawers from when I had reorganized. I wanted to see if how I had them worked out before I labeled them. I moved them around from time to time until I liked where everything was. Yesterday I finalized after doing a little more reorganizing of some of them. They are all labeled now. While doing all that I ended up finding that all my Bo Bunny glitter pastes had completely dried up. So many pretty colors and they were all hard as a rock. Not very happy about that. They were closed very tightly too. I guess sooner or later these things dry up anyway. Ugh. Today I’ll finish the labeling. I still have a little more reorganizing to do. I need to work on some of my stamps and dies categories as some of them have outgrown their drawer. The life of a crafter. lol. Anyway things look so much better now without post it notes all over the place. I’m happy to have finally gotten it done. I’ll be back to playing in there again soon.

Have a great day Cherries.

Sounds like you had a very accomplished day Barb!  I hear ya on the BB  pastes.  I spent a lot of money on the NUVO mousse a few years ago at the CK trade show.  When I opened them, they were all dried out.  A few were cracked they were so dry.  I was not happy and tried all of the tips and tricks I saw on the internet web sites.  Nada!  I pitched them all and won't be buying them again.  I am loving the TCW stencil butters!

Same for both the Bo Bunny and the Nuvo mousse !  Very disappointing
OMGoodness YES! Bo Bunny Glitter Paste for me....I had to toss them out

Re: Scrap a Day, March 9th
Jeez Louise. Some people rang my doorbell what I thought was a bit before 10 this morning (yes I forgot to turn clocks forward).  I was reading and didn’t go to bed till 1:30 last night so was not particularly neighborly when I answered the door.  It’s Sunday for goodness sakes!   They live several blocks away and apparently on Sunday mornings like to wander in strange neighborhoods and “meet” people.  They have a Bible in their hands and actually think people will be happy to invite them in!  I am not good like St. John in the Bible.  I do not suffer  fools gladly! Not even on Sunday mornings.
oK. Rant over.

nothing going on today. Need to mop kitchen floor where my son spilled coffee last night. I cleaned it up then but still needs a good mopping.   Got my new Gina K fuse gel stuff so thinking to doing some foiled cards today. Sun is shining and expected to be 70.  Maybe take a long walk.

have a nice Sunday.

Hola cherries! Been busy today :) With the time change, I slept in until 8am. Unloaded dishwasher and relaxed with coffee with DH. We made breakfast and then I seasoned the pork. Got that slow cooking for pulled pork sandwiches later. It'll give us quite a few meals this week. I even made a power slaw (cole slaw with more veggies). I've also put finishing touches on one layout and even got another one done. :) Posted my challenges.

I LOVE the TCW stencil butters too! Those and Simon Hurley's pastes are my go to's.

What a great idea to put post it notes on things until you know if you like it or not!!! I’ll have to remember that! Organizing is a big job but when it’s finished it’s always a great thing! Have fun playing!!!!

Yeah some of the drawers were just not working out the way I had them, and some were perfect. I think I have it right now. Lol. At least the labels remove easily if I change my mind. I was so happy to find them come off so well on the drawers from when I had previously labeled them!
