Hey Cherries. Sorry for the late post. I slept in. Yesterday went well and all is good. When I got home I just stayed on the couch and watched tv and napped on and off all day. I was exhausted. No plans today. Not sure what I’ll do yet.

Have a great day Cherries.

Barb, glad all went well! Glad you’ve been resting! Take it easy!

Hey Cherries 😊
Just hanging out with some coffee and checking out the message boards. So MANY good challenges this month!! 😀 Where do I even start? 😂
I relaxed yesterday and I'm not sure that I got much done! 😂 Some laundry and that was about it! 😂
I had therapy too and it went well. It definitely helps!
Maybe some arts and crafts today? It's been raining, so definitely a good day for it! 😉
Stay blessed, Cherries! 🍒❤️
Laundry is a chore so it counts for something! And rainy days are def crafty days!!!

Glad yesterday went well Barb.

I have finished 2 small scrapbook pages and a card this morning, all before lunch. None of them are very complicated, but I'm sure this is a record for me, not counting crops. This afternoon I have a hair appointment and I should probably get outdoors before the rain comes.

Have a great day everyone!
Sounds like a great day Louise! Yay for getting so much done!!!

Morning everyone! Pet Scan and blood work went ok. Had to stick me twice because I have the tiniest veins and Chemo is not easy on your veins. But 2 sticks is much better than 5 that I've had in the past. Waiting on results is always worrisome these days. Been dealing with this for nearly 3 years.

We had a late night last night after Lucy's BB game. They're 2 hours away. I got to relax a bit as DH drove both ways and daughter Marla went with us. They had a great game and won! Lucy played awesome! Love watching her play! They are Regional Champs! Now off to 'States' next week.

Hoping to get some scrapping done today. Enjoy your day, Everyone! 😊

Deanne, I totally understand the vein thing!!! My veins collapse and roll. I’m sorry you had to go through that. {{{HUGS}}} And I hope you get good results. I’ll be praying for you!!!

Congrats to Lucy and her team!!! Best wishes and good luck in the finals!!!

Good morning y'all. Decent day yesterday work-wise but lasted until 4:45. Ended up having to rest in the recliner all evening. Had some pain and feeling a bit sore. My right side is a little tender. I didn't do anything stupid, but a friend of mine reminded me that surgery was just 4 weeks ago. It takes time to heal. I had organs removed and I'm healing. So be patient....

We had a dry front blow in yesterday morning and wrecked some major havoc in the area. We managed to drop down to 6% humidity and dew point was 3 degrees. Our high was 90 and the winds were 60mph plus. From power outages to fires popping up. About a dozen fires popped up. One of the worse hit was Sinton (which is a small town north of us, about 20 miles), they had to deal with 2 fires and several homes were completely burned to the ground. Luckily no lives were lost, but still..very sad. Last I checked, one was 65% contained and the other was 75%. Now there's one that popped up about 10 miles SE of me. The winds have died down tremendously (only about 10-15 mph) so I'm hoping that one gets contained quickly.

This morning we had Terminix do our annual home inspection. All good there. Been working most of the morning. Washed bedsheets and dusted a little bit. Nothing crazy though. Oh and while drinking my coffee I worked on picking out my cardstock/2-side pattern paper for the Double Page challenge. I just need to upload my photo to that one.

Back to work for me....hope everyone has a great day.

So sorry you’re still having pain! Your friend is right about the organs!!! Those are the organs that affect so many parts of your body and brain! You made a good decision to have the surgery. And you’ll feel a LOT better!!! But your body has to heal. You’re on the downhill side of the worst of it.? Hang in there!!!

I was out for a morning follow up appointment and glad to be home!  We have some unstable weather predictions today with severe thunderstorms and possible tornado activity.  The grandkids got out of school 3 hours early too.  So I'll be in my craft space for the rest of the day hoping the weather is not too severe.
I saw that weather prediction on the tv this morning! Praying for your safety!!! Enjoy your play time Vicki!!!

Coolish, grey, and rainy today and tomorrow but sunny again Friday and all weekend.  93 year old aunt wants me to take her to Walmart.  Sigh. Told her Friday cause you could drown in a rain shower in the parking lot in the time it takes her to get out of the car and up to the front door.  But 🤔 once inside she just takes off and disappears if I blink.

had a lot of out of the house stuff already this week.  I just want to play with my stuff at my craft table and watch it rain today.  Cat is on my lap, I have a bottle of Dr. Pepper, beautiful winter sky out the window. . . . I’m good.

have a wonderful Wednesday.
Awww! I know the feeling Charlene!!! Enjoy your Dr Pepper and the pretty sky!

Prayers for safety Chris!!! Hope your power stays on!!!

Thanks Ginni. Resting made it better. I also think I might be walking too much....so I'm slowing my pace down a bit and shaved off some time too each time I do walk. And DH is happy to learn that I'm giving myself a break this afternoon by working from my laptop. I'm in the recliner and resting...

Hey Cherries! I’m at my BFF’s until tomorrow afternoon. Barely slept last night. No clue why not. Had to be up at 7:30 to take care of her special plants. She’s got a zillion just in the house. Her yard gardens are amazing!!! But several indoor plants need special care.

And her little male kitten Finn is so sweet! He misses his sister Angel who’s getting fixed. And his family. But he laid with me for awhile last night and he comes and lets me pet him every so often. :)

I brought some scrappy things with me. Got one layout almost finished and another one started. I’m hoping to finish it after I take a nap. Lolol!

Stsy safe in the crazy weather everyone!
