March Double Page Challenge - Part 1
Hello!  I'm going to be doing something a little different this month.  The theme will be "three" for March, so this will take place in 3 parts.  It's a progressive challenge, so I've cleared this with Louise (traveler). But it won't be nearly as involved as Louise's. It will be very much follow-the-instructions. Also, I'd like to thank Stacy (stinkerbelle) for the idea for this challenge (It will become clearer in part 2). There will also be 3 prizes, and I'm going to give you the option of completing 2 single page layouts instead of a double, so I hope some of you who don't normally do 2-pagers will play along too.

The steps to this challenge should be easy to follow, and you're only going to need 2 sheets of cardstock and one 12x12 sheet of double-sided paper.  I'm going to tell you that the sketch I will be using has 6 photos:  3 horizontal (4x6), 2 vertical (4x6), and 1 square (4x4), but this can be adjusted for what you want to do.

So for Part 1, your assignment is to take a picture of your 2 sheets of cardstock and the double-sided paper you choose and post it here. If you absolutely do not own any double-sided papers (or want to use something older that was only printed on one side), 2 single sheets will be allowed.  But don't pick 2 individual sides from 2 double-sided papers -- it's more fun to play along!  For you 8.5x11 folks, I think it'll work if your patterned paper is 8.5" square.  That's it!  This step will be due Friday March 7.  Like Louise's challenges, I'll give a point for each step completed before the deadline, so you will have 3 entries if you complete each by the deadline. If you miss a deadline, you can do the next step but just won't get the point for the previous part.

Re: March Double Page Challenge - Part 1
I don’t do many double page layouts anymore, and I’ve been working with much smaller sizes. I really want to do this so I’m going to have to come up with something. I’ll figure it out over the weekend.

You will have the option to turn it into 2 single page layouts.  They separate quite nicely. 😊
