Good morning cherries. The winds finally died down here, so we are only 30 degrees. Wind chill wasn't bad either - only 19. Not the 22 degrees with wind chill of 14 they were originally expecting. And no precip, which we love too. Miss Penny is staying warm in her PJs. DH had to put the PJs on her and at first she was a little hesitant. But aftewards, she was happy to be warm. I did take pictures too because both Jasmine and Shelby were "supervising". Probably making sure DH did it right!

I'm doing much better today compared to yesterday. Still taking it day by day. Slept for the first night w/o my abdominal binder and still haven't put it on. Running the self-clean on my oven and have towels in the dryer.

Work is definetly keeping me busy and at times I feel like I will never catch up, but I know it's only temporary as I still split my time between my computer in my office and my laptop in the recliner.

Anyways..off to get the towels our of the dryer and then move onto working!

I posted after eight last night and don’t think anyone read it, so I copied and pasted. Hope that is ok.


Hi, Cherries!  Been MIA, because friends were here visiting. we had such a good time!  They came on Sunday, we were went out to eat that day.  On Monday, although cold, we got outside for walking and letterboxing.  Tuesday, 8 degrees and lower and blowing snow!  The two guys shoveled off and on, while we girls crafted in the craft room!  They left Chicago in a snowstorm! LOL. They stayed here in a snowstorm and left today headed for Arizona.  I bet they will be glad to get there! LOL. 

we are back to leaving cabinet doors open under sinks and leaving water drip pin so pipes won’t freeze.  It was 1 earlier today with -15 wind chill.  Right now 3 feels like -6.
Tomorrow -8
we have set all kinds of temp records, one from 1889! LOL

Other news:  I went to the doctor on Monday, and will have a reverse shoulder replacement on April First.  So, I will be out of commission for awhile.  I hope I can craft by  NSD!  They said no driving for 6 weeks , recovery 6 months.
i was planning on going to a junk journal retreat in April.  That is out now.

I am with you on hating this cold, long winter!  Ouch on the shoulder replacement!  Not a good April Fools’ joke!  I hope you will be healed enough by NSD to have fun with us!

Not much going on here today.  We actually have a "down" day of nothing required to be done.  DH is taking in some bad movies while I'm scrapping a bit.  Leftovers for dinner so it's a serious down day.

Hope you enjoyed your “down” day.  I worked hard on mine, because I can’t afford to stop with only 2 weeks to showtime! lol. I got a few things done, but not enough!

Well, I did a little scrapping to take my mind off of my chaotic musical schedule. lol  For the February Double Page challenge.  Now back to work!  Thankful there are a lot of things I can do on the computer when I'm not at school!
