Re: Scrap a Day, February 21st
Our cleaning ladies were here this morning, and DH went grocery shopping at Wegman's. He really likes doing that and so much more around the house. He had a follow up CT scan and appointment with the thoracic surgeon earlier this week with great results. He also had blood work with outstanding results. So there is no stopping him because he's convinced all the work he does around here is his physical therapy!

While he was gone and our ladies were here, I did this layout for FVDP Challenge #5.

Still super cold, but it is  suppose to be 60 by Monday.  I sure hope so.  We are still surrounded by snow though.  DH went to grocery store this morning and said the parking lot was good, but at other stores around looked bad.  We live in a no outlet circle, and no one ever clears our street, so it will be bad till we get some melting.  Not much at 8 degrees though!

I am going to try to get crafty today.
Brandy, take it easy!
I hope it warms up too!  We've avoided the snow, but it's so cold!

We braved the cold and wind for our Friday grocery run.  The local farmers have been fertilizing fields all week and you can smell the ozone...IYKYK.  I wouldn't be opening windows today even if it was warm.  Having a light lunch and heading to my craft space.  I have 2 LOs going and hoping my ACOT order arrives on time so I can finish them tomorrow.

I hope you do get to have some crafty fun today! 😊

I'm super excited I got to get a little crafty. Even if it was just punching some hearts, adding sequins and stickers and a short title.

Probably going to relax a bit. Still haven't done any work...

Sunny and blue skies.  Going to b well into the 60’s today with a light breeze.  And tomorrow or Sunday our first 70 degree spring day even though it actually still winter for another month.
Nothing much today.  Quick run to the grocery.  Sons will b here for dinner tonight.  make an appointment at the opthemologist . Maybe go to the tax place on way to grocery or maybe wait till next week for everything but grocery and sons.   Lol   If my grandmother were still alive, she’d probably say I need a dose of Lydia Pinkham to get me moving.  lol

have a nice day.

Hey Cherries. The kids and I had a great time yesterday. We did some crafts and then baked cookies. Lots of cookies. They each make their own batch. More crafts and lots of cookie eating on the agenda for today.

Have a great day Cherries.

Sounds like a great time!!!

Have fun with them Barb!

It's a bit warmer here today. I'm definitely going to get out for my walk this afternoon, probably some scrapping on the agenda. The piano tuner came back for a 3rd time this morning and went over every key so hopefully no more sticking. I'll definitely play it today. I think we need to get a new piano tuner this has been so annoying, but I'm not going to say anything until I'm sure it's fine. I never had a key stick in over 20 years of this piano before he tuned it earlier this week.

We're going to some sort of wine event at an art gallery tonight. Hopefully it is good, both the wine and the art.🤞🏻

Have a great day everyone!
I hope your piano is fixed this time! Sticking keys care so frustrating! Especially when you’re really into it and suddenly have to stop!

Have fun at the wine and art event!

Good morning y'all. Already sitting in the recliner, with my laptop and Netflix. I was having a really good day yesterday, but by 9pm...had some pain and had to take something and put my abdominal binder back on before bed. Taking it easy this morning. Think I just overdid it yesterday. You know how it goes...two steps forward...one step back.

Yesterday afternoon, while I was working on my laptop, Penny was sleeping one minute on a dog bed and the next....she had puked. :( Not only on the dog bed...but on herself too. So I cleaned up what I could, all while calling DH to come home to help me. I felt bad but luckily he only works 3 mins away (5 mins if he hits the red light). So he took care of everything and threw everything in the washer. I was able to put things in the dryer since my washer/dryer are on pedestals so there isn't any extra bending for me. So maybe I overdid it because I sat up quickly after Penny threw up. Who knows..... At least she's feeling better now. She slept most of the afternoon and all evening and even thru the night. She was able to eat breakfast and so far...keeping it down.

Anyways, feeling a little better today. Took a shower and had my coffee. My SIL swung by and picked me up on her way to take Draven and Jasper to school. We are now getting Wesley enrolled in school. Since he too will need ESC services, he needs to be enrolled as early as possible. So they can have him evaluated BEFORE the school year starts, unlike Jasper where we enrolled him during regular enrollment and his eval was done AFTER school started. They are using our address since they are out of district. We had the papers notarized last week.

I even got a chance to work on Step #5 of the Progressive Challenge. I'm almost done and hoping to even upload it today. If not, definetly over the weekend.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day. Smile, it's Friday. :)

Awww! Poor Penny! I’m glad she’s better now. And I’m glad your DH was able to come home and help. I’m also glad you’re taking it easy! I know how hard it is to not do more than you should!!!

It warming up, here in the west. So, hopefully headed to the ladies back east. We were up around 40 yesterday. And the sun is shining brightly. Snow starting to melt. There’s a pile of it hanging around. DH is on an Avis drive this morning. Not much on my agenda, which is ok. Hoping to get out and walk later.

Yayay for warmer temps! It’s in the low 40s and raining here. Most of the snow is gone too! Enjoy your walk!
