Scrap a Day, February 4th
Hey Cherries. Sunny and warmer today, in the 40s. I have a dermatology appointment and making a Costco run on the way home. Them back to working on some things that have to be done around here.

Have a great day Cherries.

Hey Barb! Can’t believe you and I are the only ones here! Hope you get all your chores done so you can play!

The wind has died down a bit. And it’s a whopping 19 degrees out there. Warmer than Saturday and Sunday! I’m going to try scrapping a bit today. Maybe if I try while it’s warmer I won’t get so cold. Lol! I also need to wash dishes. The cabin water is still frozen. We’re trying to save money since we’ve had to buy so much wood. Diesel is expensive! So we have the heat set really low. Looks like we’re going to start warming up a little bit soon so that will help! This winter fooled us! Was so mild and then it got brutal!

Have a great day Cherries!!!

Re: Scrap a Day, February 4th
Hey all.  Grey cloudy windy etc. rained hard all night but not bad now.

Got up this morning and went down the hall to turn heat on.  And poof nothing.  My heater sounds like a ‘31 model T changing gears when it comes on in the morning.  I knew electricity wasn’t out cause electric blanket light was on. Fiddled around with thermostat a bit trying different things but nope.    I was pretty bummed since I went to dentist yesterday and found out I need some stuff done that will b pricey.  Sigh. Ten minutes later the heater came on and been working fine. 🤔

I need to go to drugstore and bank today if it doesn’t turn nasty again. That’s about it.     Have a quiet Tuesday.

Had a good day in the craft room today, made 3 cards, very happy with that much!
Now I need to get ready for our Columbiette meeting at 6:30 pm.
It is always nice reading about my Cherries and how life is going for each of you. As always, wishing each one of you blessings and cheers!

Busy day for me.  Out early for some errands, home to pick up DH and then to DD's to deliver a few things she needed.  Stopped for a coffee on the way home.  We had vegetable chili for dinner and now I'm settling in for the evening to work on DGS's Valentines for his class.

Hi, Cherries,  Busy day today.  Went to PT, then people here, and then Skype with crafty friends.  Then had wash to do.  Tomorrow I will be leaving to go to another community for coffee/tea with friends with gfs. That is if we don’t get the freezing ice they are predicting.  That is right 60s yesterday, 28 today!

Stay warm, Cherries!

You, stay warm, too.  I think of how cold you must be.  Our son called from Maine today.  He has woke up to minus degrees two days in a row.  He lives in a cabin and has some kind of automatic gas fireplace.  It is supposed to to come on when it gets down to 60,  it didn’t, and he got up to very cold cabin.  Went back to bedroom closed door and turned on with space heater and got back under the covers.  He is ready to move! LOL. He has lived there for over 7 years,  He is getting older, and less loving of cold weather than when younger!

we are cold but have heat inside.
Hope it is not too cold for you tonight, Ginnni.

I’m sorry for your son! I remember seeing enclosed walkways connecting the barn and house up in Maine! It gets much colder there and lots more snow than we do. Lol!

The wind has FINALLY stopped! It might blow a bit tonight but not like it has been the last 5 days. And the current temperature at 4:30 pm is a whopping 24F!!! WOOHOOOOOOO!!! Lolol! I took another nap too cuz Steve got it nice and toasty warm and I fell asleep. Lol! Got the dishes washed and now it’s time to make white chicken chili. We love it!!!

Have a great night Sharon!
