Scrap a Day, February 3rd
Hey Cherries. We got a little dusting last night but then it turned to rain so there’s not much of it left. I have laundry on my agenda today and going to work on some things that need to be done around the house.

Have a great day Cherries.

Glad you didn't have much snow; sounds like it warmed up a little! 😉
Good luck getting things done today! Hope it's a good day for you, Barb! 😊

Hey Cherries 😊
A little coffee time this morning. Warmish again today and sunny! I'll take it! 55!!!

I have to get ready for work soon. Working a LONG shift today and I was called in yesterday for a few hours and so that's good. Even though I have these roommates I still can't help but worry a little about the bills. Rents all paid up for a while but you KNOW, utilities 😂
Anyway I REALLY appreciate you all so much!
Have a good day, Cherries! 🍒❤️

Cool grey rainy day.  Dentist late afternoon. Ugh

Totally hoarse and sore throat from all the cheering, yelling, hollering etc at the PBR yesterday.  I love cowboys and bull riding.  My sons give me 2 tickets for a Christmas gift every year and they chauffeur us downtown to the arena and pick us up so we don’t have to deal with traffic and parking. Also a plus is no dressing up. I wore a flannel shirt and jeans and a hoodie sweatshirt to keep me dry in the rain.  My fav attire.

have a good Monday.

Good afternoon. We’ll be heading out a little later because I need an ultrasound on my thyroid. It’s always something!

Oh, good afternoon ladies! Always something popping up, and somehow we get through it. Sorry about the need for an ultrasound Chris, hope the results are very favorable for you.
I need to ask what PBR is, Charleene. Something athletic, I'm guessing.
So far this morning I have been extremely 'athletic', but not for fun or enjoyment. As I normally do, I got up, fixed breakfast for the chickens. When I tock the dish out back I noticed the jasmine bush needed attention. Got my trash bag, gloves, and cutting tool and took care of it. When I carried the bag of clippings to the front I saw one of the yard trash bins was filled with oak branches! This is not good because I had not trimmed that tree on the side! Unhappily I saw the literal botching of my tree. My DD KNOWS not to do this, but, apparently, she did anyway. I had put it off, waiting for better weather. And I had borrowed a high reaching limb cutting tool from my grandson recently! I knew it needed a good cutting, but my "artist Daughter" has no concept of shaping the tree! None! She basically gutted out the entire bottom. By the time spring comes. it will start to fill out and after a few shape sessions it will look okay. I just have to take a lot off the top now.
Then, housework. Laundry went well but cleaning out the fridge for trash pick-up tomorrow didn't. Usually I just gather the too-old containers and do a general wipe until a more serious wipe out comes due. Today I reached for a baggie she had put in there and she didn't seal the zip (she is really bad about that and I should have been more careful). So, the entire shelf had to come out and be cleaned. I only did that one shelf, thankfully.
After shower, the sun had come out so I sat outside for some daily reading and a welcomed cup of coffee. Didn't have much sun because the clouds sporadically popped overhead.
Now I'm finally in the craft room and hoping to make a Valentine card for Flasher's challenge.
Have a good rest of your day, my friends!

Re: Scrap a Day, February 3rd
Thyroids must be THE thing to chase after, lol .  I was asked to let a girl at the hospital ultrasound mine, oh about 30 years ago. They found what they said was malignant, and sent me to our med ctr. Long story short it was a bruise, from choking or coughing and blood pooled and dried there. Scary for awhile

I just went through papers from long time ago, found Jellybean, Basic Grey, Cosmo Cricket.  All in great shape in file boxes as my sister is organizing for me.  I want to scrap but decided I may take a short nap first.  No snow here, I guess you gals along the coast are getting our dusting from last night! Stay warm.

Re: Scrap a Day, February 3rd
Another brutally cold day here. The wind is still howling. And it’s only about 18 degrees plus the wind chill!!! Steve was up and down all night keeping the fire going. It was quite a bit warmer this morning! But still cold at about 65. Lol!

I managed to make a card last night for the 4th step in the progressive challenge and the card challenge. But by the time I finished my toes were numb so I didn’t even clean up. Next time I need to take my heating pad for my feet. Lol! I’m hoping I can play again today but we will see.

The wind is supposed to finally slow down a LOT tomorrow night and then it’s supposed to warm up to the 30s. YAYAYAY! It can’t come soon enough! Hahaha!

Hope everyone is having a great day!!!

I guess you could call it athletic.  It’s Professional Bull Riding!  And it’s a heart pumping, adrenaline rush sport trying to stay on the back of a couple thousand pound bull with nothing but a rope in your hand that’s tied to the bull, other hand in the air  for 8 seconds.  I am addicted to watching it.
