Hey Cherries. Hard to believe it’s the last day of the month already. I don’t think I’m going to get any more challenges done although I really had so many more that I wanted to do. I don’t know where the month went. This morning I’m waiting to hear from my mechanic as my car wouldn’t start yesterday and he came by late afternoon and picked her up and kept her overnight. She’s due for an oil change anyway so he’ll do that this morning and call me as to what the problem is. Definitely not the battery though. Later this afternoon I have an ENT appointment and then a grocery delivery coming. It’s warmer today but overcast and raining. Not going to be seeing the sun at all today. It would be a good day to say in but I’ll be happy once I get my car back and I get home. Gotta love a grocery delivery though.
Have a great day Cherries.

Love your weather, Carrie! Enjoy that birthday party!
I'll say some prayers for DD's DH and family!
Stay blessed
Hey Cherries
Work was very tiresome yesterday - or, I guess I just feel extra tired. My sister came to pick me up from work and brought the boys and we got cheeseburgers for dinner. It was great to see them! They cheered me up a little!
I did my adulting already this morning - or at LEAST a big portion of it! Rent is paid up until April so I'm happy about that! Now just to make an electric payment. Oh pesky adulting!
In the low 50s here with lots of rain! I may take a nap later; doing some laundry now. Definitely need to do some cleaning around here. DGD Courtney brought some boxes home from her job, and hopefully we'll be able to get some more clutter out. My living room is a wreck right now, bedroom needs works too! SMH I'm JUST hanging in there!
My mom said she's coming with my sister Moe tomorrow, then I work at 5 to close. I'm grateful for so much!

Overcast and raining off and on here. The temp is 44 and I can handle that until March. I hope February is kind to us. I'm tired of the bitter cold we had most of January. Finishing up a challenge today and that's about it.

Sending hugs to your DD and kids. That separation has got to be tough. We had some family members go through it too and it's an adjustment for all, especially little people.CarrieG wrote: ↑Fri Jan 31, 2025 11:04 amlongest month ever!!!! so glad it is ending...Feb better be amazing..lol

Sending you big hugs and prayers, Holly, as you maneuver your way through the recent adulting issues. Happy you have a support system surrounding you.JollyHollyScraps wrote: ↑Fri Jan 31, 2025 1:06 pmHey Cherries

Greetings from Seattle. Has been raining, but it seems to have stopped for now. Temps in the 40’s. Enjoying these couple of days with DD #2. Will have my flight to FL tomorrow. It’s a long one flying across the country- almost 6 hours. Have a book downloaded and some movies too on my Ipad. And my cross stitch to keep me occupied.
Hoping everyone enjoys their Friday.

Grey and rainy here. And warmer due to the rain. Was working on challenges yesterday but a friend called and derailed that. She is very needy and I am a soft touch. So we video chatted for over two hours. Sigh. Hoping to get the challenge that was half done finished and at least one more. That’s about it for today.
stay safe and dry.

Oh NO Barb! It's always something isn't it? Finally got your internet issues fixed and now it's the car. Grrr! Hopefully it's something simple and inexpensive. {{{HUGS}}}pawprints wrote: ↑Fri Jan 31, 2025 10:51 amHey Cherries. Hard to believe it’s the last day of the month already.
