January/February Graphic Design Challenge
We are back to using print ads for inspiration this month Cherries. The challenge is to pick one of these ads and use it for inspiration. But… YOUR INSPIRATION MUST COME FROM SOMETHING OTHER THAN JUST THE COLORS! You by all means may use the colors of the ad if you want to, but that cannot be your only source of inspiration. You  must get your inspiration from something else in the ad too. Please let us know what it was that inspired you.

Here are the ads to choose from:

Open to paper, digi, hybrid, cards, crafts, planners, or anything else you are inspired to create.

Multiple submissions are allowed up to a limit of 5.

You may combine with one other challenge that allows combining and you may also add to the Prompts Challenge.

I'm running this into March a bit because I am posting it so late. Post your submissions to this thread by March 16th and a random winner of all participants will receive a $5 ACOT GC from me!

Most of all have fun. I hope you find these ads to be inspiring.

Here is my layout. I chose the Barilla Limited-Edition Heart-Shaped Pasta ad. I was inspired by the colors, as I love how the doodled red and pink hearts pop against the dark blue background, and the pasta inspired the touches of gold. But I was also inspired by the doodled and painted hearts and how they frame both sides of the ad, and also the string of them printed on the pasta box. I used a doodled font and title and used lots of doodled and painted hearts. BTW, I never saw that ad or that pasta in the store! I love that box! Even the window on it is heart shaped!! I must find it! Lol.

Have fun Cherries!

Love how much your layout was inspired by that ad, Barb!  Your layout is beautifully done, and I love all the hearts.  I have heard of that brand, and even bought it, but never seen it with hearts.  Great inspiration, thank you.

Thank you. I tried looking it up online and it is hard to get. Apparently it is only available Jan and Feb and only in certain stores. Amazon has it but out of stock at a reasonable price. But as in anything else everyone tries to rip you off when something is scarce and you can pick up a box for $11 and change at Amazon and Walmart. Um, no thank you!

Inspired by the Crayola ad -  the rainbow style background which I used on my flowers, and the two different sized fonts in the title. Combined with 3 In A Row.
