UGH! I head to Houston for a conference in Febtuary. Any chance it's be in the 80s and sunny with a hint of a breeze?

It's definitely going to shut Houston down for a couple days.  We aren't prepared for snow or ice here.  Which I am fine with.  I just stay indoors with the fireplace and my crafty supplies.  I just hope the power stays on.

I hate the cold and....I'm being sent to Chicago on Sunday to do a site visit. I peeked at the weather forecast and all I saw were single digits. I'm gonna turn into an icepop - how do people survive that kind of cold??? 

(What's even harder to comprehend is I went to college in Maine!)

LOL. Our son lives in Maine.  Once it snows, it stays on the ground until Spring!

we were outside most of the afternoon trying to get the chickens and the dog all ready for the weather...it was below freezing but bearable
....i just checked our wind chill---14 freaking degrees...no no no  i am NOT built for this......sigh

I prefer winter to summer but extreme cold is not fun for anyone. I love my heated seats and steering wheel for WI winters. I just realized last summer that I can cool the seats too, . I did stock up on food and am ready to hunker down if needed.

There is a pretty good chance lol it will be in the high sixties after a low 20° in the same week lol Texas weather is special.
