Hey Cherries. It has been bitter cold here. Temp right now still in the 20s but our wind chills remain in the single digits. I am so washed out after doing a lot of packing up at my mom’s house yesterday. DS went with me and we did a lot and we were totally exhausted. I’m still so tired and may nap for a bit. Hoping to get in my scrap room sometime later today. We’ll see how it goes.
Have a great day Cherries.

Blustery (really!) and cold with a high of 26 today! Ugh...is it Spring yet? Not much going on here but some crafting. Purging through some die cuts I don't use to send to a friend's young daughter that is getting into scrapping and card making. Some I used once about 6 years or more ago. Time to send them off to someone that will use them. Also working on the cover of the art journal that 8 of us shared our work in. Nothing else on the horizon today for me.
STAY WARM if you leave where it's cold!

Hi! Slow going for me this morning. I am feeling wonky, balance issues. I am hoping the feeling goes away so I don’t have to deal with it. LOL. still cold here. Ground still covered with snow. Our deck is still encased in ice. And guess what? More snow in the forecast! I think hubby already has cabin fever! LOL. Not me. I could stay in until Sunday morning, church. Hopefully they will have parking lot cleared by then. It really isn’t the snow so much as it is the ice under it.I guess it will all stay here until the temps warm up.
I am not very exciting today. I hope you all are doing well, and get some crafty time.

Cherries I lied when I said we ONLY got 6 inches of snow this week- it ended up being more like 11, with ice thrown in. More to come this weekend and I work and I'm having to get Lyft rides and the people who own this trailer park never salt, let alone plow, and it's aggravating. My Lyft driver tried to cancel on me yesterday because he got hung up coming back here, and got stuck for a minute when I was in the car. The driver last night was sliding badly and so, I'm JUST stressed as we have MORE winter mess coming tomorrow. With worse temperatures.
I need some prayers for piece of mind, and courage! I have to work tomorrow and will be requesting an SUV as my Lyft. It cost a little more, but I HAVE to work tomorrow, AND we'll need some groceries. (Working at a grocery store has it perks, though, because I have plenty of chances to pick up what I need, without having to go too far!)
I'm kind of being a crabby crabapple right now, and need to REALLY chill out. I was woken up in the middle of the night, and there was STILL no clean dishes and I had a fit. The people I live with are getting on my nerves, but honestly, I'm getting on my own nerves, too!
Thank God for you Cherries! This place, you ALL here, it REALLY lifts my spirits! There's lots of cool stuff on the boards, and I've missed a few things so gonna check everything out! I'm off today, and gonna have some fun with some craft supplies!
Be blessed, Cherries!

How nice of you to share the dies you no longer you use! I'm sure she'll appreciate them so MUCH! I LOVE sharing things with people who are just getting into crafting! I'm ALWAYS amazed at how they use things!
Stay warm and blessed, Vicki!

Hello. Reading all the cold/bad weather reports on here and folks wishing for spring and giggling. Just 15 days ago (that’s only 2 weeks) WAS Christmas! LOL. Everything in its own time and maybe not wish your life away. And I’m probably thinking Like this cause I’ll b 80 this year and the majority of my life is now behind me.
on a more cheery note although it’s cold here it’s also sunny and blue skies. Going to b high of 61 today. I need to go to grocery today for sure. Totally out of Dr Pepper. Was kind of sick yesterday and didn’t get out of the house so lots of to do stuff today.
have a pleasant Thursday.

Oh Barb! I know EXACTLY how that feels. I'm glad you didn't have to do it alone. Are you finished there now? Rest and take good care of yourself. {{{HUGS}}}

Carrie, that's so odd that they didn't at least delay school... Maybe they were thinking it would be worse this afternoon and they might have to send them home early... Hmmm... Hope you get to scrap!!!

Sharon, the cold weather messes with our bodies and makes us want to hibernate like bears! I hope your balance normalizes quickly! I could (and sometimes DO) stay home for days on end. My DH gets cabin fever quickly too. Hope you get some play time in today!

OMG Holly!!!! That's so scary on so many levels!!!! Prayers for drivers that know how to drive in that stuff and can navigate it safely!!! And I pray for peace for you. It's been a stressful time there and it sounds like everyone is stressed out. I can totally relate!!! Hopefully work will be quiet tomorrow. Have fun playing today and read and take a nap if you need/want to! {{{HUGS}}}

Charleneanne, you are so right about the timing of things! But most of these Cherries aren't used to such bitter cold temps and snow and ice combined! Plus the media is really hyping up the fear. As long as you're careful you should be safe but how many people drive carefully anymore? Hey 80 is a milestone to be proud of! But I totally understand how you feel. I will be 71 next month! How in the WORLD did THAT happen??? LOLOL!!! My grandmother on my Mom's side was 101 1/2 when she passed so I've always said I was going to live to be 100 so that's another 29 years of life! Will go by in a heartbeat but it's a pretty long time.
Stay warm as you do your errands today. Hope you're feeling better than yesterday!
Hey Cherries! It's raining again. That's what happens when you live in a rainforest. LOL! We're just SUPER glad it's not snow! As much rain as we've had we'd be buried if it were snow!!!
I had a bit of a rough night so taking it easy today. The side I landed on in the fall last week is still sore and I have huge knots all up and down from my waist to my foot. I woke up in the middle of the night and my muscles were spasming like crazy. I'd already taken tylenol so I got some prescription cream and that took awhile but worked thankfully. I still need to finish putting Christmas things away. Not much left but it's all small things that need to be wrapped and carefully placed. Steve will help me.
I scrapped last night too. Another 2 pager from Christmas 2013.
Once I get Christmas finished, I'll start putting away Steve's tools and supplies that are in the kitchen. It's time to take control! LOLOL! The downstairs is not finished so everything can go down there and still be handy.
Hope you're all having a good day! Stay safe and warm Cherries!

it is snowing again here, I miss walking the trail, and I can’t go walking in this! I guess that is why I complain about the weather. But I have to say it is beautiful out. Oh, and I hope you got your Dr. pepper.
