Back by popular demand!!! THE EIGHT DAYS OF HANUKKAH CHALLENGES
Welcome cherries!
If you were around last year at this time, you may remember that I posted the Hanukkah challenges one night at a time and allowed a month after posting for submissions. However, last year Hanukkah started the first week of December, unlike this year when we will celebrate "Chrismukkah"
Here's what I'm doing this year instead. I have posted all eight challenges today. They will be labeled as Day 1, 2, etc. Each day you get the opportunity to learn a little about the celebration of Hanukkah and there is an associated challenge for each day. On the first four days, I will be sharing information about the meaning of Hanukkah and aspects of its religious observance. For the final four days, I will share information about the traditions and celebration of Hanukkah. For continuity, I recommend that you read each challenge in order. Since I posted only one per day last year, they are written to follow one another, rather than stand alone.
I have updated each challenge, as needed, to reflect these changes. To "freshen things up", I have also chosen new examples for each challenge. FULL DISCLOSURE: These layouts are from late summer to last week and were previously submitted. Your layouts must be NEW.
Links to the challenges:
Hanukkah Day 1 - Color Challenge
Hanukkah day 2 - 8 item challenge
Hanukkah day 3 - Light challenge
Hanukkah day 4 - Song challenge
Hanukkah Day 5 - Food Challenge
Hanukkah day 6 - Spinning challenge
Hanukkah day 7 - Title Challenge
Hanukkah day 8 - Present challenge
General information:
1) For some, but not all, of the challengers, cards will be permitted. Each challenge will specify clearly if cards are allowed to be submitted for that challenge.
2) ALL EIGHT CHALLENGES WILL BE DUE 1/31/2025.
3) All layouts must be NEW. You may combine each challenge with one other monthly challenge that permits it, but you may NOT submit the same layout for 2 different Hanukkah challenges.
4) Only one submission, per person, per challenge.
5) Each layout MUST be submitted to the specific thread for THAT DAY!
5) MOST IMPORTANT: I hope that you learn something and that you HAVE FUN!

Looking forward to the challenges and learning, thank you!

So glad you're doing these again and that we have so much time. I have a Hannukah card to make today or tomorrow and pictures from my little Israel trip this month to scrap, so these challenges will be perfect for those.

I cherry lifted that idea from you with the Turkey Trot master list!!
