Re: December Wacky Holiday Challenge
I went for December 25, Christmas Day.

Although my family is Jewish, my husband had been raised Catholic. As a family we only celebrate Hanukkah, but my mother-in-law celebrates Christmas. Every year we've gone to her home with the children - and now the grandchildren - to celebrate Christmas with Grandma. We celebrate it as a day of love and giving to be shared with family. Since we raised our children to be respectful of all beliefs, from a young age they understood the true meaning of Christmas to Christians.

So here is my Jewish DGS at his great-grandmother's home, on Christmas 2023, opening what had to be his ABSOLUTE favorite present (from Hanukkah and Christmas combined!!) - a bugle.

Re: December Wacky Holiday Challenge
OH MY GOODNESS!
THIS MONTH HAS FLOWN BY...And I am so sorry that I have not been able to be on and stay caught up.
Not only is work SUPER busy for me right now, My hubby booked a surprise trip for my birthday,  my Daughter and her boyfriend of 3 years broke up, My FIL had knee surgery which was great, but ended up in hospital multiple times with other issues non related...we were worried he wasn't going to make it. It has been CRAZY!

Anyway... I am all caught up to here!
I did see one or two NON scrapbook layouts submitted, and I love them! However, this month, only scrapbooking layouts are being counted for the prize.  PLEASE continue to play along, but understand that I decided to omit the cards, etc this month for many reasons.

Also, I can't remember if I awarded last month's winner or not, so I will do that soon if I haven't already.

 Have a Wonderful Day!  ~Misty
