I started my Black Friday challenge yesterday evening so I plan on hopefully finishing that up tonight ! I have a few errands to run after work so we will see how it goes and what time I get done, that will be the determining factor on scrapping tonight.
Today is my sweet Murphy’s 11th bday!!! She shares a bday with Miss Penny Lane (( one of Brandy’s sweet girls!) so Birthday shout outs to the puppies!!! And yes we will PAWTY 🐾🐾🐾!!!
What is on your agenda today???!

Good morning Susan!  I am at my weekend crop.  Got here yesterday afternoon and it was soooo  good to see my sister!!  We checked in to our hotel and then went for eats.  That's what you do at crops, right?  LOL!  We couldn't get into the crop room until 5 and it was only 3.  My Pocono friends arrived later in the evening and we talked more than scrapped.  It was after midnight when we went to bed and after 1 went we turned out the lights for a few hours.  I was up at 6 and here I am in the crop room.  And, I am the only one here!  What?  Waiting for my pals and then we will head to breakfast.  Have a good Friday DCs.  I plan to scrap, scrap, scrap today!

Happy Birthday to the pups today!

Re: Scrap a Day November 8
Good morning!  TGIF!!  Looking forward to a weekend of really nothing much to do.  I need to clean up my scrap space again.  Im hoping to knock out quite  a few pages this weekend.   I sorted through the last of the NOLA pics and tossed what I deemed unnecessary or redundant.  Didn't do too much to the stack but I'm a little closer to finishing up this trip.  I finished up the last of the Halloween challenges last night with a bunch of the pictures, so I was happy with that.

Hoping work goes by quickly today so maybe I can plan stuff out....but it hasn't worked for me yet this week.

Have a great day!

Good morning and happy birthday to Murphy and Miss Penny Lane.

i got my hearing aides serviced yesterday since they both needed new batteries, my warranty is up April 2025 and then I need to decide if I should buy an extended warranty or take a chance and pay out of pocket as needed. Either way, it’s a budget buster when you are on a fixed income.

it feels like Saturday and I’m slow moving. I’ll be heading into my scrap room soon.

Friday again. Been here at DD’s in Florida two weeks tomorrow.  One more week and home to California then instead of missing my home and craft stuff, I’ll b whining about missing DD and the grandkids. Lol

tomorrow DD and her hubby head off for their overnight date.  The grandkids and I will b on our own for an entire 24 hours.  lol.  My late MIL used to do this for my DH and I. She felt young couples need a day now and then away from kids, responsibilities etc to just enjoy whatever together. And since I don’t order any scrappy goodies while I’m here, I have a few extra coins which I slip into DD’s pocket as they leave. They are usually smiling and excited when they leave - the grandkids and I are too.  As soon as they’re gone, we crank up the music and have a dance party!!!! Lol

have a friendly Friday

I'm ALSO loving the sales and have picked up a few things. Lol not that I need MUCH! 😂 I'm having ACOT hold my orders and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this feature!!!

Good morning cherries and Happy Birthday to Miss Penny Lane and Murphy! 💕 🐾 🐾 🎉  I already took Miss Penny Lane's annual birthday photo and will post it soon. She's happy today!

Me? I'm happy its finally Friday. If Monday afternoon kicked my behind and Tuesday morning was brutal and Wednesday was insane...Thursday...all day..from 8am until after 5pm.....ALL.DAY.LONG.  Totally wiped me out. It's been a while since I've had one of those days AND one of those weeks.

Went and got groceries already, and ate a quick breakfast. About to start on work.

Hope y'all have a great day.
Brandy 🐾 🐾 ❤️

Re: Scrap a Day November 8
Still enjoying my visit in Seattle with the DD for a couple more days. We were at home yesterday. Son-in-law drove their car to work. They work from home most days. I got out for a nice walk with next to no wind. Fantastic! DD is working again today and later we will run to get groceries. And tomorrow taking a drive to Snowqualmie. And then fly home on Sunday.

Do miss my crafting time. My thoughts are like Charleneanne. Miss my DD when I am not here!

Happy Friday, all!

Chris, it's strange to me that the insurance doesn't cover your hearing aid batteries!  I mean if you've been prescribed hearing aids it would follow that the batteries would be included wouldn't it?  Oh wait.....  We're talking about the government run insurance aren't we.

That's such a sweet tradition your MIL started!!!  I'm glad you're continuing it!  Parents DO need a bit of space for themselves every so often!  And the kids benefit too with fun time with Grandma!!!  :)  Make sure you get pictures of that dance party and share it with us!  :)
