Praying for everyone that will be impacted! Praying that the storm dissipates at least a bit before it hits! Please stay safe Dear Cherries!!!
Stay safe everyone and check in when you can. Hopefully it will die down before hitting land.
Florida Cherry here and like Stacy, this one has me nervous. Not for me so much, I am in Miami and we are out of the cone, though that does not mean we will not have effects. I am terribly worried about my brother that is in Ft. Myers. We are prepared and put up our shutters, the only ones on the street. Hubby works with water management so it was yesterday or never and all it takes is one little wobble. To my fellow Florida Cherries and those Cherries with Florida families, please stay safe. You are all in my thoughts, literally it is all I can think about. My kiddo lives here but is a firefighter in Melbourne and is scheduled to work Wednesday...this mom is freaking out about him driving. Told him to call in ask to come in tomorrow.

A small but deadly storm..... I'm hoping it calms a bit before hitting, but it will still have the water push from cat 5. Very scary... Hope everyone stays safe!

Sending big hugs and lots of prayers to all the cherries in Florida. Please check-in when you can.
Prayers for you all. I have been watching the forecast and it looks scary. My hubby will be driving to Georgia tomorrow and in the area Wednesday for work. I really hope you all stay safe, above water and it calms way down before landfall!
My apologies to the Team Challenge cherries. I have evacuated my home and won't be able to be crafty until we get back after the storm passes. We got everything shuttered up and braced for the high winds before we left. Not much can be done if there is flooding, so keeping fingers crossed (as the saying goes-I'm not superstitious IRL) for that part. We do the best we can, then wait and see. Deal with the dust, or mud, when it settles.

Glad you are out of harm's way and have evacuated. Will be thinking of you and all the other Floridians.

I am so sorry you had to evacuate your home. I hope it remains safe and you have no flooding or any damage when you return.

Sonja I’m glad you were able to evacuate, I know the storm surge is a great concern in your area. Stay safe Cherry neighbor! Hope you are able to return quickly with no damage.
