Scrap a Day, September 29th
Hey Cherries. Very lazy Sunday morning here. I have to pay bills today but other than that I have no other plans but to stay in and maybe work on another layout. It’s hard to believe that there’s only two days left in September.

Hope you all have a great day.

Enjoy your lazy day, Barb!  It is raining here...a nice, slow, steady rain since yesterday, and we needed it so badly!  Good day to stay inside and scrap, but I have to do "adulting" first.  Laundry, school prep, working on the online class I'm taking.  Hopefully, I can get all that done and still have some time this afternoon!

I can't believe how fast September has flown by either! Where'd it go, Barb? 😂
Hope you have an awesome day! ☺️

Hey Cherries 😊

I've had yesterday and today off work..I spent a LOT of time yesterday just relaxing and catching up on sleep. That stomach bug and then working when I still felt bad just REALLY took it out of me.
My prints FINALLY came this weekend! I'm gonna be making more page kits, with JUST papers and photos.
I  think I'll feel more motivated to scrap after I tidy up some. I wanted to do so MANY of the fabulous challenges but I JUST wasn't feeling it. 🤷🏻 I HAVE felt like journaling a LOT AND organizing some of my other art projects, though! I don't KNOW where the month went! 😂
I'm thinking of taking advantage of this free shipping though! 🤪 We'll see! 😉
Stay blessed, DCs! 🍒❤️☺️

Re: Scrap a Day, September 29th
Good morning!  Yesterday turned into a lazy evening.  I felt I got a lot done in the morning, so I took the night off...lol.

I cleaned up the kitchen this morning - AGAIN!  These boys just irritate me sometimes.

I finally went and got my nails done.  I was just heading out to the treadmill, but my daughter called to recap her adventures in Utah so far.  I need to color my hair tonight too.

After the treadmill, I am going to force myself to get the 2nd coat of paint on the hallway done.  It's such a huge task and I just don't want to, but I really want that project finished.

I put some ribs in the crockpot for dinner.  I might do some meal prep for the week later on...

Have a great day!

Oh, Wendy,  I hope you get to your pampering because you deserve it! ☺️ (ESPECIALLY after the kitchen fiasco! 😉)
I'm wishing I had a treadmill right now but you've inspired me to march in place; that I can do! (Still rainy here.)
Hope you have a wonderful day, Wendy!

Ugh - hope you are feeling better soon! I love making page kits - the problem is then remember what I did when it comes time to use them LOL Speaking of cleaning up, I just put away all the Christmas stuff I had out. I know there are only 2 days left in the month but I want to try to do at least 1 or 2 of the challenges that I've had my eye on. So many good ones!

Re: Scrap a Day, September 29th
It's a dreary, rainy day here with not a lot of good natural light for scrapping. I'm going to try to start a page today thought. The manuscript I"m working on is incredibly complicated (epic fantasy - very D&D, sword & sorcery) so I have to really pay attention and go very slowly and it's huge. Meanwhile the Jets are on today, the Mets are choking in the playoff run (ugh as a Mets fan but not terribly disappointed if I don't have to go to work this week - is that terrible LOL? I'm tired!), and I have to iron for the week. Then DH and DD decide to take the winter clothes down. She has new luggage from Texas that needs to be put away and we usually put the seasonal clothes in the luggage in the closet. He wants to get rid of the old, beatup luggage we have. Meanwhile, it's ME that ends up doing the changeover so they just piled clothes all over the bedroom and I don't have time to deal with it right now with everything else I am doing today. It's usually something that I do here and there over a week but now everything is out of the bags. UGH. Anyway, not a very relaxing Sunday. Then people wonder why I look forward to Mondays

Well wish we had some of you guys rainy dreary weather already.  Lol. 88 today, blue skies and sunny.  Another heat spell coming this week and even chance for one day at triple digits again  too.

have plans to go to that lavender festival this afternoon but don’t know if I’m going to make it.  Feeling less inclined to go anywhere today.   I try hard not to cancel plans for no reason and just stay home lol but jeez it’s almost hibernation season in Yellowstone and maybe I’m just practicing a bit early!

anyway have a serene Sunday

Quiet day here with rain off and on.  This is day 5 of rain for us after 2 months of no rain.  The grass is green again and growing fast.  DH mowed yesterday with the deck raised high and today, he's mowing a second time with a lower deck.  All in between showers. The wind has been blowing and dried out the lawn so he's trying to get it done before this evening when the rain starts again.  Otherwise, he will be mowing grass that 6+ inches high and having to sweep.  I'm working on a couple of LOs that I hope to finish by the end of the day or tomorrow.  If not, they'll be part of October's rewind!  LOL!
