TGIF!  I made it through this long/short week.  lol  Weather is turning drastically cooler tomorrow and I'm ready for it!

Hey Cherries! I slept really late because a huge moth kept bugging for the 2nd night in a row and wouldn’t leave me alone. Lol! I finally got to sleep at 4:30 am! So I’m dragging today. HAVE to go to town today. We’re out of all kinds of perishables. The only things I really can’t stock up on like I do with everything else.

I have a 2 page layout ready to be adhered and finished so hopefully I can do that tonight.

TGIF my foot lol. I'm copy editing today and working the stadium all the rest of the weekend. We have an employee food drive tomorrow and donators get a Mets Give 2024 pin. I need more flair for my lanyard lol. And Sunday is the staff party after the game. Then we have a week off before the next & last homestand of the year. I could use the week off! I am still working on a huge anthology project due the 21st! 

I finished another layout for the SantaLand album but will wait for better light tomorrow to take pics. 

Wow, you have a busy weekend.  At least the temps are somewhat cooler than August!  Hang in there.

Laura, I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE your layout!  Eliza is a beautiful fur baby!    And I agree with you on the bugs!!!  One time in an apartment I had there was a cricket in the heating and air conditioning vent in my bedroom.  it took weeks to get that thing out!!!  i think i finally sprayed enough bug killer in there to get it but it was way back in there. 

funny part about the moth.  tonight we're just doing our normal thing.  I'm scrapping and Steve's watching tv.  We both thought we heard one of the geese make a noise which is highly unusual.  The birds are always completely quiet at night so Steve went out to investigate.  Apparently there are a couple more of those moths that were bothering me in the greenhouse next to the bird coop and the geese don't like it!!!!!  So it's not just me!!!  That thing was at least an inch wide and an inch tall!!!  Big ol' thing.  LOLOL!  I can't figure out how they get in but it must be when we let the cat in and out...  Have a great weekend!!!

Good morning cherries and Happy Freakin' Friday. O.M.G.....longest, most stressful week ever. Finally had a quiet day yesterday but DH just can't catch a break. Worked a very long, 13 hr day. Hoping today is mucho better for him.

Have a busy day today. Already went and got groceries and put those away. Been answering emails and taking care of some things. Miss Penny Lane has her wellness exam/shots today at 2pm . Hope she gets a really good bill of health. Lookin' forward to dinner out with DH tonight.

I haven't been looking forward to next Monday at all because of jury duty. I got the notice back in July, scheduled for August but they texted me saying it was rescheduled to next Monday. Two days ago, got a text that I was still needing to report as I was selected to be on a case with a specific judge. Ugh...but about 15 mins ago, got another text...it was totally cancelled and they don't need me. Yippee!!!

Hope y'all have a greatd a.

(((Hugs))) Both of you sound like you had the runaround this week. Hoping for a relaxing weekend for you guys! How was Penny's wellness check? And whew on jury duty!!!
  

She did AMAZING! She was totally cool as a cucumber! She weighs 52 lbs now (lossed 3 lbs from last year's checkup). Her temp was normal and she sat still and pretty for the vet tech who gave her her shots and drew blood. Bloodwork came back negative for all the things! Our vet checked her over and all was good. Ears are clean. Heart and lungs are good. Just keep doing what we are doing.

I was a little worried about her losing weight but he said that's normal in older dogs (she's a senior!). 3 lbs isn't horrible for a dog her size. And she checks all the boxes -- eats well, I read ingredients just like for us when it comes to food/treats. She doesn't get alot of human food either. If she does, it's stuff like blueberries, bananas, chicken, salmon, eggs. She also has more interest in chewing like Shelby and Jasmine, so that's helping her too. I buy single-ingredient chews from the "raw bar" at speciality pet stores. And she still runs and plays with girls too, so she still is quite active. Other than the white in her face, you'd never guess she was almost 12 years old.

We got home and they got a special treat. Banana topped with PB ice cream and PB & Banana biscuits. Yumm-O!

Omer and I spent time with friends after work last night and had some Moscato it'd been a rough day! Lol!
After work this evening, I plan on playing with my scrappy stuff!
