We're having a quiet day after our morning grocery trip.  Both of our daughters and families are out of town in different directions for the weekend.  So we are taking advantage of the quiet.  DH is doing a movie marathon and I'm in my craft space for the day and hopefully the weekend.

Hey Cherries. Going to spend the afternoon with my mom. Bringing lunch and then I’ll take her to CVS and Target for some things she needs. My Graphic Design Challenge is coming along slow but sure. It’s been a busy week. Hopefully it will be up today or tomorrow.

Good morning cherries and Happy Freakin' Friday. O.M.G.....longest, most stressful week ever. Finally had a quiet day yesterday but DH just can't catch a break. Worked a very long, 13 hr day. Hoping today is mucho better for him.

Have a busy day today. Already went and got groceries and put those away. Been answering emails and taking care of some things. Miss Penny Lane has her wellness exam/shots today at 2pm . Hope she gets a really good bill of health. Lookin' forward to dinner out with DH tonight.

I haven't been looking forward to next Monday at all because of jury duty. I got the notice back in July, scheduled for August but they texted me saying it was rescheduled to next Monday. Two days ago, got a text that I was still needing to report as I was selected to be on a case with a specific judge. Ugh...but about 15 mins ago, got another text...it was totally cancelled and they don't need me. Yippee!!!

Enjoying a cool morning, but heating up to 90.

No big plans for today.  I am sure I will twitter the day away.  Always can find something to do.  Had a good PT session yesterday.  Need to keep doing my exercises to keep that new knee limber.  It's slowly coming along.  

Have a couple of layouts done.  Need to photo and upload.

Wow slept in till nearly 10 for the first time in weeks! Feels so good. Also nothing on my calendar rest if September but a pedi in 3 weeks! Glory Hallelujah!! Plus another woohoo, this is last 100+ temperature in the foreseeable future per our local weather guys. lol 104 today and then poof down to average of low 90’s to upper 80’s. of course stuff happens and weather can change abruptly but I’m going with the positive and the good vibes. Lol

Have a frivolous Friday.

YAYAYAY for sleeping in!!!! I’m a night owl and definitely NOT a morning person. So sleeping in is always a plus!!! Hopefully your weather will cool off soon!

Barb is right about it being a busy week! I've done some adulting and working and little playing !
Omer and I spent time with friends after work last night and had some Moscato it'd been a rough day! Lol!
After work this evening, I plan on playing with my scrappy stuff!

Hey Cherries! I slept really late because a huge moth kept bugging for the 2nd night in a row and wouldn’t leave me alone. Lol! I finally got to sleep at 4:30 am! So I’m dragging today. HAVE to go to town today. We’re out of all kinds of perishables. The only things I really can’t stock up on like I do with everything else.

I have a 2 page layout ready to be adhered and finished so hopefully I can do that tonight.

TGIF my foot lol. I'm copy editing today and working the stadium all the rest of the weekend. We have an employee food drive tomorrow and donators get a Mets Give 2024 pin. I need more flair for my lanyard lol. And Sunday is the staff party after the game. Then we have a week off before the next & last homestand of the year. I could use the week off! I am still working on a huge anthology project due the 21st! 

I finished another layout for the SantaLand album but will wait for better light tomorrow to take pics.

I feel you on the crazy week (and it was a short one!)  I hope Penny did well at her appointment.   Yay for cancelled jury duty!  I was selected for June and July (6 times to report in all) and I was thrilled each time when they said they didn't need me. lol

We have been having the 90-degree weather again, but it gets down in the high 50's at night, low humidity, so it's bearable.  BIG cool down this weekend...high of 66!  lol

Bugs!  I hate them!  lol  One time, when I was a teen, I spent the night at my Grandma's big old house in the country.  There was a cricket in my bedroom!  I was up at 2 am trying to find and get rid of it...woke my Grandma up, accidentally, and she came in to try and find it with me.  We never did and I went to the living room and slept on the couch!  lol
