Tuesday, he had a PET scan, and it appears his lymph nodes are good, and cancer has not spread. Today he had a biopsy which confirmed the results of the PET scan. Even so, I am a nervous person and anxiously waiting for his surgery on September 20th. I appreciate all the good thoughts and prayers. I hope to spend the weekend scrapping and relaxing!
(((Hugs))) Non-stop good thoughts and prayers headed your way every day! It's great to hear that his lymph nodes are clear! Now, you focus on the 20th! I know you're anxious -- how could you not be? His surgery is just the next step to eliminating this ugly problem and both of you putting this behind you!

OCD is not an adjective. It is not a personality quirk. It is not synonymous with being organized. It is a complex and debilitating mental health illness that affects people of all ages and walks of life, and is defined by the presence of unwanted, intrusive thoughts and repetitive actions. I am an OCD warrior and I fight for my son.
You and Ed have both been on my mind, Chris. Will continue to keep you both in my thoughts. (((HUGS)))

Hi Chris-
That is great news that his lymph nodes are clear and that it hasn’t spread! Now they can get that nasty spot out and focus on recovery. Continued prayers and lots and lots of good thoughts.
It’s understandable that you are anxious and worried. One thing at a time and you guys have a great medical team. We will be praying they go above and beyond in the care of Ed!

Continuing to lift you and Ed up in prayer Chris!!! It’s really good news that his lymph nodes are clear! But I’d be anxious and nervous too.
When you start thinking about it too much and are starting to stress even more stop and take some deep breaths and proclaim that he will be just fine after his surgery! Then do something to distract yourself.
You have a nervous stomach like I do. And that obviously doesn’t help things. So take whatever supplements or meds you need to take and do your best to take care of yourself too.

You and your DH are still in my prayers, Chris. Keep distracting yourself with your creativity and scrap! It is good news that the lymph nodes are clear. Hugs!

Chris, im so very sorry I missed your first post about Ed. But I'm also very happy to see this post and that everything is coming back so positive in that he can get treatment that can keep him on life's normal path. I just told my family doctor I am not spending all my days at dr appointments searching for something for the medical community to treat. I'm sure Ed is happy that his diagnosis seems to be good, and ill pray for him, and you! If you need anything I'm only two hours away. Hugs to your entire family and tell Ed he's too tough for cancer!!
Continued prayers for you both!
Chris I’m sending hugs and all my good thoughts your way! It is certainly encouraging that the PET and biopsy came back showing that it hasn’t spread. Now the waiting game to get past that next hurdle, it is good to have something to focus on and distract you when all you can do is wait. I hope you are able to do that, and also relax some, by scrapping this weekend like you said.

Positive news about the lymph nodes. One little step at a time. On to surgery. Positive thoughts and prayers for you both. You got this! Take a deep breath and on to the next step!

Thinking of you both! Good news on the cancer front, but I understand the anxiety leading up to the 20th. Big hugs and lots of prayers coming your way! xoxo
