Scrap a Day, September 4th

Post by pawprints »

Hey Cherries. I’m waiting on the guys to show up to install my new lighting. I’m replacing the big fluorescent fixture in my kitchen with two pendants and high hats and replacing my laundry room/mud room fixtures. All LED. I’m really excited about it. No scrapping or anything crafty today as I can’t work when peeps are working in my house. They have some outdoor walkway lights to replace too so many once they are out there. We’ll see how it goes.

Have a great day Cherries.

Sounds like some cool updates happening, Barb.

I was up and out the door by 7 am to take DH to the airport for an Avis drive. Dh didn’t want to unhook the trailer from the truck as we still need to take it to storage. So, I basically have the day to myself. Need to get my laundry folded and away. And clean bathrooms. Working on a layout.

Didn’t have a great night. Leg bothering me after PT yesterday. Was up at 3 am taking some Motrin.

Still super smokey out giving me a headache. But we did have thunderstorms last evening which cooled our temps off.

Hoping everyone has a super day!

You've had a busy year so far with renovations.  I'm sure you'll be happy when everything is done!  Just in time for the holidays...

Sorry to hear that your knee was bothering you.  I had a rough day at PT yesterday too.  I'm guessing it helps in the long run... It's not fun.  Hope you are better today.

Busy day yesterday.  I had PT early and then took my DGD to an appointment.  The pickup at school is always a process.  Took her home and visited a bit with DD and got home in time for dinner.  This morning we took DH's car to the dealer and dropped it off for oil change and some other stuff.  When we go to pick it up, I will head to the jeweler nearby and have all of my jewelry inspected.  Then home to craft a bit.  I am getting the art journal ready to mail off tomorrow!

Good morning cherries. After the $hit $how of a day yesterday, all I had left in me was heat up leftovers for dinner, pour myself an XL glass of wine and watch a couple of things we had on our DVR. Slept well, but have been sneezing most of the day. We have had this low pressure lingering over us for the last week. It's slow moving and it's not being kind to my head or my sinuses.

With the rain this morning and not feeling 100%, I skipped my walk this morning. Already unloaded the dishwasher and washed bedsheets. Just need to put them back on the bed. Put in a chewy.com order as well as my Apothic Wine order.

Got lots of fires going work-wise and just trying to get things back on track after the dumpster fire yesterday. Thank goodness this is a short work week.

Anywho, hope y'all have a great day.

September strews the woodlot o'er
With many a brilliant color;
The world is brighter than before,
Why should our hearts be duller?
–Thomas W. Parsons (1819–92)

However here in Northern California it is expected to b 104 degrees today! Mostly hiding inside but dr appointment mid afternoon and grocery store after. My son’s coming to supper tonight. Picking up hoagie sandwich fixings and potato salad at the grocery deli counter.

With the exception of getting garbage together and out on the curb later that’s my whole day. Excessive Heat and I are not friends.

Have a winning Wednesday.
