Hi Cherries!
I will periodically be posting a challenge when an idea hits me and the “mood” suits me. Some of these wonderful challenges that are provided monthly prompt my ideas. So this challenge is a combination of the “My Mood”, “Picture Yourself” “Sketch With a Twist” and the “Music” challenges. May be combined with other challenges that allow it.
For this challenge, I want you to choose one of your favorite songs, pull the lyrics and scrapbook it, DESCRIBING WHY this song resonates with you. You can use hidden journaling if you like. For the “twist”, use least 3 colors from an album cover, or imitate an album image for your page. Be sure to post the album cover you use for inspiration. No photos are necessary, but you must meet all the requirements for an entry.
My page will be from Jelly Roll, “I’m Not Ok” I will post it when it’s done. Other thoughts I had was Leann Womack, “I Hope You Dance”, maybe use a love song for your fur baby, a song that reminds you of a memorable trip you had. Here are the rules;
1) ONE entry allowed. Can combine with other challenges that allow it.
2) Due at midnight the last day of the month
3) Random drawing for $5 gift card to ACOT (if there are a lot of entries I will provide additional ones).
4) Must have the 3 requirements; song lyrics, album cover inspiration and journaling. Please post the album cover you use.
5) Open to digital or traditional layouts, cards, journals, etc.
6) Have fun reflecting!
