The randomly drawn winner of this challenge is Tammey! PM me with your snail mail address and I will send you a little prize goody!
Well, whether I like it or not, I am going back to school in August. lol So, this month's mood board has a color that reminds me of that (red), as it is one of our school colors, as well as the color of my beloved OSU Buckeyes. But, this August is also all about the Olympics, so the color partner is GOLD! For this challenge, you must use the red & gold (metallic, please, not yellow) color scheme (you may use neutrals: black, white, grey, brown, tan, and even silver, but no other colors, except in your photos.) Then, choose at least 3 additional inspirations from the mood board below (and let us know what they were).
You have until midnight, August 31 to upload your layout into the gallery spot provided to be entered into the prize drawing for a goody from me.
Must be a new layout.
Can be combined with one other challenge that allows combining, as well as the Bi-Monthly, 100 Papers, and Team challenges.

Awesome!!!
I was inspired by the gold glitter (I used gold words for my title), the red heart (I added hearts even though this was a difficult night at a Christmas dinner) , and the gold border between the photos on the board (I used gold washi tape as a border).
I combined this with Brandy's layout on Team Barks A Lot. My inspirations were the circles, the streaks (top left) which I used Inka Gold to paint on some of the lines (it doesn’t show up very well), and the heart and key.
Layout created for the august moodboard challenge. My 3 inspirations are: gold circles from bottom right pic,, the gold lettering from the pic with a gold key and the ring [ruby with diamonds].
Gold circles from the pic I made into circles, the gold lettering is on my vellum circles - and for the last item I’ve added a diamond paper clip to my pic.
Total points for team Stinkerbelle 13 (ACOT challenges [mood board + 100 papers], upload, tile alphas, twine, enamel dots, label, border punch, speciality paper, chipboard, something old: diamond paperclip, something new: background paper, wordy bits).
Add some sparkle to your life

Here is my page:
I was inspired by the rhinestones, the red dress, circles (gemstones) and the gold key.

The photo in the upper left part of the mood board inspired my use of gold glitter, the dress inspired my use of thread/twine, and the splatters in the photo in the lower right corner inspired my use of splatters.

I was inspired by the hat and first picture looked like the poof on top of the birthday hat, the text, and the floral arrangement which looked like balloons

Here is mine. Combined with Carmen Sandiego challenge.
My 3 inspirations are the skinny gold all caps title letters, the concentric circle element, and I thought the glitter looked like stars.
