I just finished up with the preop. Everything is good. My heart is good and ready for surgery. The surgery was reschedule for the 23rd and October 9th. I have two different procedures. Which is probaly for the best with hurricane stuff happening in the next few days. I came out of the appointment with an overwhelming amount of information that I have to try to wrap my head around. All of the do's and don't, before and after surgery. This surgery is going to require allot of prep before. I'm just catching my breath before I jump into the paper work. Plus trying to prepare for the hurricane. It's a lot today. My hubby just left for his out of town job. He will not be back for my first surgery but will be back for recovery and my second surgery. Well I just got news that I need to get another surgery. After I had covid two months ago. I just haven't been feeling well. Three weeks ago they found a weird viral eye infection. I have been dealing with so much pressure in my eyes, nose and ears. I couldnt see out of my left eye for hours. Plus dizziness and I had three bad falls this month. No one could tell me what was going on. It was extremely frustrating. I haven't been very mobile. I'm not as dizzy but still very off balance. So I haven't been able to drive or move around much. My doctor took two weeks off so I couldn't do much until he got back. I need his referral to see specialists. Then it typically takes weeks just to get seen. So fast forward to last week. I saw an eye doctor and the infection is in the last leg of healing. Antibiotics will clear the rest of it up. But because I'm still dealing with the dizziness. He referred me to an ent. They did a CT scan today and said I need surgery. My septum is very enlarged and there is lots of pressure in my ears. I saw the scan and it is so visibly large. It's no wonder I have been having major pressure and migraines and off balance. They will have to relieve the pressure in the septum. Break my nose to straighten the canal. Hopefully I'm explaining that right. Everything happened so fast and it was hard to keep up. All I heard is I needed surgery again
Then dilate my eustachian tube in my ear. On top of this I have vertigo. That's why I'm falling. So I have to start physical therapy for that and check to make sure nothing else is going on. This girl could use a break and vacation on surgeries. My surgery is set for September 13th. I could use some good vibes and prayers. I get major anxiety being put under. Plus the recovery is a week with no lifting. The worst part is my husband will be out of town for my surgery and recovery. He's my calming person.
