I love Pinterest! I can find so many ideas there. I found this awesome list of tutorials for using up your scraps : 20 Easy and Fun Ideas To Scrap Your Leftovers You Must Try (einatkessler.com).
For this challenge, I want you to use some scraps! Choose at least 2 of the ideas from this tutorial, use your scraps (any papers that have already been cut down from 8.5 x 11 or 12 x 12 count as scraps) and create a layout, card, or other craft item. You may use a whole sheet of paper for your background, but other than that, everything should be made with scraps! You can use other embellishments, too, but be sure to let us know which 2 ideas you used from the tutorial.
You have until midnight, August 5th to upload your creation into the gallery spot I've provided.
Must be a new creation.
CANNOT be combined with other challenges, except for the Bi-Monthly, 100 Papers, and Team challenges.
There are some great ideas in this video. Awesome challenge. I did a class with Einat at CHA years ago. Lovely lady.
Finally got rid of some leftover letter stickers! Techniques used: Flags & Banners, Punches, Add Texture with Letters
I used scraps except for white cardstock. 2 ideas were the banner flags and using scraps to make backgrounds.

I'm confused - is there a video tutorial we are supposed to watch or is it just the text-based ideas in the blog? I tried watching the video but it just keeps going to ads? Help LOL!?

What a FUN challenge!!!!! I made a background using scrap papers and I used some leftover rubons. I've never tried using punched or die cut shapes laid out like this! And I've never tried putting rubons on top of other rubons! But I LOVE how this card turned out! Thanks for the inspiration Laura!!!
I used "lace" paper on the top half of the page with punched circles and clouds and I created a banner with scraps of paper

Ideas used; kites, punches (flowers on kites), rub-ones, paper scraps and stamps.
Everything on the card is from scraps including the background and matting. I used rolled scraps for the candles, die cut scraps using part of a ribbon die cut for the flames and added some scraps of twine around the candles.

Used scraps to make the "lace background" like in the tutorial. Also did a flower folliwing the instructions in the link, but mine looks kinda janky.

Fun challenge
Used scraps to make the die cut stars and the candles. The other papers were some left over scraps from a sheet of cut cards.
