Scrap a Day, July 23rd

Post by pawprints »

Hey Cherries. Cloudy and rainy today. I have to go out and run some errands then home to my scrap room. Working out the details for Maddie’s invitations and I also started a layout yesterday too. Hope to get back to that today.

Have a great day Cherries.

Good morning cherries. Barb, have fun working on those invites. I bet they will be amazing!

Yesterday was a GREAT day for Jasper! Our Jasper did AMAZING! The teacher said he listened and followed directions. No tears. He played well with others. He ate his lunch using a spoon, making minimal mess (he struggles with using a spoon). He didn't have much energy when they got back home though. LOL. Poor guy was worn out!

Once I got back home yesterday, I worked for a couple of hours. This morning, same story. Just work. Already unloaded dishwasher, washed doggie blankets from bedroom and vacuumed bedroom.

Hope everyone has a great day.

Maddie is lucky to have such a talented grandmother. Be sure to post one before sending out.

Happy Tuesday Cherries. Just back from the dentist.  It has been at least 8 years since I have gone because it is a big fear of mine, my dentist left the state and then Covid. I take really good care of my teeth but knew I needed to go. No cavities and a big fear conquered!!  Will go regularly now but walking a bit taller today.  Never did start scanning yesterday so that is on the agenda for today. Have a great day everyone  😊

Glad you conquered your fears and went to the dentist! It’s not my favorite place to go either but I’ll be going next week.

The big ole’ thing on my cheek finally popped Saturday evening. It was huge and the stuff coming out of it was so gross. It’s not completely emptied and I have an appointment with the dermatologist this afternoon. I’ve been taking antibiotics, too.

I may try to do a little scrapping today.

Trying to get my housework done while it is still slightly cool this morning.  Mopping floors,  And it is headed to over 100 degrees.  Ouch!!!

Hibernating.  I feel for the poor guys redoing our deck.  It got pretty much completely demolished yesterday.  They went after the supplies they needed to start the rebuild.

Uploaded my 3 layouts I finished over the last couple of days.  Will be a day to stay inside and craft.

Here is one for the CAS challenge.

107 today sigh. But a cooling trend for the end of the week and only 91 Friday. Thats a good thing cause we’re going to the Amador County Fair up in the foothills Friday.

Got up today to the news that an old friend since childhood died early this morning. She turned 84 last week. She is the oldest sister of my best lifelong friend. She always looked after us two silly girls as she called us. There were 6 sisters and this is the third one we’ve lost in just three years.

Staying home and in the house today and tomorrow while 100+ temps so maybe get a little time at the craft table. Have a tolerable Tuesday and stay chill .
