Dixie Scout!

Rob and I talked about when we would add a four-legged friend back in to our lives & I have been missing a Golden Retriever for nearly 13 years… so when he agreed with this breed, I went to work! I found us the sweetest little girl, 16 weeks old already, and we fell in love immediately! She’s definitely the light in the darkness right now. We even saw a rainbow driving home with her earlier this week. A sweet little hello from her big sister for sure🪽

She's doing SO well so far! When we brought Liberty home 8 years ago, she was only 8 weeks old and the separation anxiety was SO BAD. We're having a lot easier of time with a slightly older puppy! I'm sure the breed helps too, Liberty was Aussie/Black Lab and her personality definitely resembled the Aussie, a lot more anxious and high strung!

So did I! Almost as if my angel girl completed her journey across the rainbow bridge knowing I had someone new to look after me and her boys!
