For this step of the Progressive challenge, you will make the journaling box. Put everything you did in step 1 aside until step 3.

For this step, I want you to either use a pre-made journaling box or make one yourself. Handwrite or type your journaling, including something of interest more than just the place and date. Then do something to your journaling box using pens and/or inks. Do not add embellishments to the journaling box, you will have an opportunity to do that later.   Post a picture of your journaling box to this thread before next Monday July 15.

Here is my example, I cut my journaling box and punched the corners before I ran it through the printer. I added the lines with a pen and inked the edges in blue and then smudged some brown and green inks in one corner. I wasn't planning to smudge the inks in the corner but there was some ink on my finger and I decided that I liked it enough that I didn't want to re-print it. I have a lot of journaling, you don't need nearly this much.

I made my tag using a jukebox die cut.  It was perfect for the shape that I wanted.  I inked the edges and did hand journaling.
