Sorry I am so late picking a winner for June due to some medical issues I am having. I did look at all the layouts submitted and they were all so creative.
The winner for this month is: Tammey. Congrats and I will be ordering your gift card now. Thanks everyone and hoping I can get back on the message board more often.
This was one of my favorite challenges back in 2011. Each month I will alternate between odd and even numbers to mix it up some. This month will be even numbers. Hope you like it as much as I did.
Remember - limit of 5 entries.
PLEASE READ THE RULES: Lately, some of the layouts being submitted are not submitting the proper item/counts. If you have questions, please ask on this thread or send me a pm. Here's the rules:
For this challenge you will need to use 2 of something, 4 of something, 6 of something and 8 of something. These have to be exact. (Ex: You cannot have 6 enamel dots and say that it is for 5 enamel dots). Also, you can not use the same item twice. Ex: five pattern papers and then use the same paper to make circles, stars, or tags etc. Some of the things that will not count for example are # of people in a photo or # of pages in a layout and # of petals on a flower. Again, if not sure what might count ask. I have had many ask me in prior months if something would or would not be acceptable. I'm pretty flexible in that aspect. You are allowed to have other items on your page, but only after you have met the 2-4-6-8 requirements.
NOTE: A two page layout is considered one entry. You cannot have 2 of something on one page and count it, but then have more of the same items on the second page. Ex: 2 photos on the left page and 1 photo on the right. This would be considered 3 photos for the layout. Or 4 enamel dots on the left page and 3 enamel dots on the right page. This would equal 7 enamel dots for the layout. You can on a 2 page layout have items on the left and some on the right as long as they don't exceed the total requirement. Any questions please ask.
Here's an example of a layout that I did in September 2021 of one of my trips to WDW.
I used the following:
2 photos
4 papers - the white background is a freebie since it is a solid.
6 strips of journaling
8 Mickey heads on flourish"
Here's another layout that I did in May 2019 of our trip to the Swiss Alps.
I used the following:
2 frames (red and blue with pictures on right page)
4 banners (on corner of left page with word snow on them)
6 pattern papers
8 chipboard snowflakes (1 each on the frames & 6 scattered on the pattern paper strips)
Bonus entries:
1. Scraplift any of my layouts (does not have to be the examples) and you will get an extra entry. (Must post the layout you lift).
Rules:
Solid background paper and photo mats are freebies.
You may use other items as long as the above requirements are met.
New layouts only and can be either a 1 or 2 page layout.
Can be combined with any monthly challenge that allows combining.
Limit of 5 entries.
Must post to this thread by 6/30/24. Also, please list what items you used for each number. Sometimes it is hard to see them.
If you have any questions, either post your questions here in this thread or send me a pm.
One lucky winner of this Challenge will receive a $5 ACOT gift card.
Have fun and can't wait to see what you create.
