TIPS- my first time, my friend said use your phone, on night. I just pointed my phone at the sky and it took a 3 second photo. I couldn’t really see them otherwise.
I also downloaded an “Aurora” app from the App Store that will show cloud cover, best time and likely hood of seeing them for your area, amongst other science stuff. Also, look for the links I added for ACOT store products that might go with these photos.
happy hunting!
Share you pictures here if you saw the auroras!

I was reading about it online and someone said to use the camera. Well I am at work, but ran outside and it was dark 11pm but I snapped a couple pictures and this is what I got through the camera. Didn't look like anything with my bare eyes. I may try again tomorrow at home.

We looked tonight in Oregon and I didn't see anything. How late in the evening when you saw this? Going to try again on Saturday!

People in my very small town, in the middle of Denmark also captured it last night. As I’m going to be up late tonight (Eurovision song contest finale, yay!), I’m gonna try to see if I can see it for myself.

Wow!!! These photo's are amazing! I didn't see anything from here on the east coast, but then I'm not up late either. What a beautiful sight to see! Glad you shared photo's.
I saw lots of beautiful pictures on FB but we had cloud cover and didn't see anything here. I was outside at 11 and nothing.
I was in bed and asleep so I saw nothing!
I didn't know to look lol we rarely ever see them where I'm at, though!
Gorgeous photos, Cherries!

WOW, what awesome pictures! I just asked my husband and he said our local news (SW Florida) said people posted some photos of the sky here!? I knew nothing about it, I wonder if I can look tonight?

I don’t know to look either but seeing a bunch of pics from our area. (South Louisiana) The weatherman said if the clouds don’t mess us up we should be able to see them again tonight. I’ll have to figure out what time!

They were seen in central Montana.
My husband, DD and her husband and some of the grandkids drove out in the country to see them. I was even able to see them from my deck out back(it faces north)
from in town

You can’t really see them with a naked eye too well. I was alerted to use my phone camera on night setting. All I did was put mu phone up to the sky and it did it all for me! It takes 3 seconds for a photo and that’s what I saw. It should be good tonight, depending on your cloud cover.
What an utterly exciting experience, and great family time! Awesome! How much of the sky they covered - wow!
