Thank you cherries for playing along with my challenge! The Wheel of Names has chosen a random winner....Karyn Sue! CONGRATULATIONS, enjoy your new marker set!!
Please note I have a gallery spot for you to place your layout. I'll count your entry if it's in this thread, but I created the gallery spot to be able to comment on your beautiful work Don't forget to click the Add to Contest/Challenges box!
My final challenge for NSD 2024 is going to be revisiting Old Favorites in TWO different ways. Earlier in the week I hinted to you to have at least one old stash item handy. It can be paper, an embellishment, anything visible on your project. That is the first part of the challenge.
For the second part I'm going to ask you to go to the ACOT gallery and pull up what you have saved in FAVORITES and sort Oldest to Newest. What do you see as the OLDEST project saved in your favorites? Your challenge is to scraplift that project! If you are brand new to ACOT and have never saved anything to your Favorites folder in the gallery, then your option is to scraplift the same layout that I did. I will also open this challenge up to cards.
I saved this layout into my Favorites in 2014!
What is This Daddy? by Stacia B
And here is my lift. I used brads and wood veneer chevrons that I've had in my stash for at least 10 years, if not longer!
Want to know what you're playing for? The prize for this challenge is this Marker Set, generously donated by Ranger!
RULES
Create a NEW layout or card by scraplifting the oldest project you have saved in your ACOT gallery Favorites folder
You MUST use at least one old stash item and identify the item when you post your entry
NO combining with message board or other NSD challenges allowed, except for the NSD add-on 25 Items Challenge
This challenge will end on Friday, May 17th at 11:59 pm EST
One entry per person
I'll create a gallery for this challenge but feel free to link here, also
Most importantly........HAVE FUN! I can't wait to see what you create!

I honestly did not think that I had any in my favorites, but do have FOUR! All from the same day!
I didn't even know that was a "THING" until very recently!
This was the oldest/fist one ever saved By Emmapaige
Obviously I LOVE it!!!

This is a great challenge!
OCD is not an adjective. It is not a personality quirk. It is not synonymous with being organized. It is a complex and debilitating mental health illness that affects people of all ages and walks of life, and is defined by the presence of unwanted, intrusive thoughts and repetitive actions. I am an OCD warrior and I fight for my son.
Whew! I was worried as to what my first saved/favorite layout was going to be going back that far. The layout I first put in my favorites is dated 08/11/2007 which is also the oldest item in my favorites. Styles of scrapping have changed alot since then but this layout is perfect for me. I love layers and this one has them. I will be lifting this layout by Kristin.
and here is my layout - I used some old diecuts (the Mickey head top right and the elevator bottom left and added Mickey coming off the side from a die I had)from Petticoat Parlor that I had bought over 5 years ago at an Expo show somewhere

this was a favorite I had marked from sara scraps
I copied it with hexagons and used a happy theme (birthday instead of congratulations). My old items are the sequins.

Fun challenge. Saving my spot for this one! I love your LO.
Here is the one from my favorites, saved back in 2006 when my kids were obsessed with all things trains...saving it here in my spot

Thanks for the challenge! Here is mine:
This was the first layout I put into my favorites. It was posted by wendycrowe on 4-4-21. Here is what I commented: "wow - I love what you did with the tags a long the side! Great idea! Creates a nice border and adds design elements to page! This goes straight to my "gonna scraplift it someday" pile."
Well - I finally got around to it!
and here is my cherrylift:
Team Papa
The twist is the clear hammer border. I put it on a piece of grey paper so it is visible. I got it when I first started scrapbooking and was doing 8.5x11. I haven't any idea who the manufacturer was - and it was deep in my DIY stash. Thanks for inspiring me to dig it out!
Great challenge - also posted to the appropriate gallery.
