i personally L O V E purple!    don't care one way or the other about butterflies.  cannot do nasty icky disgusting moths though!  (not intentionally anyway)

i won't buy anything with an Eiffel Tower; never been to Paris and don't see myself going and this is one icon that (to me) just doesn't work on a generic travel page.

i am not into aspirational phrases all over collections (hello Pinkfresh).  i'm all for lifting people up, especially girls and women, but man, one of those phrases on a sticker sheet is plenty.  i can and do occasionally use them because they're impossible to avoid nowadays but they're not my favorite.

I have 2 daughters and 2 granddaughters.  None of them are really girly girls.  Really not into purple, minimal pink.  Minimal butterflies.  No glitter , thanks!  

I am in Montana- give me everything outdoors- lots of green!  Why does every summer collection include everything beachy.  Not a reality in Montana!  So many wasted icons!

I don't mind purple, but I am not a fan of orange, especially bright orange for my scrapping, and I rarely use bright yellow, either.  In fact, I would say extremely bright colors, in general, take away from my photos most of the time, so I don't use them.  Also, big patterns.  It's just too much for the eyes.  I will use a butterfly here and there, but why all the birds? I'm not a birdwatcher. lol  Rarely use them.  I also agree with not needing beach for every vacation kit.  I love the mountains and the woods!  Not a fan of "cutesy" stuff.  No little kids to scrap, and I prefer more realistic embellishments than cartoonish.

My biggest pet peeve is when the colors don't harmonize with each other.  I definitely choose my papers for colors that are pleasing to me.

Me, too, Sue!   I think a black photo mat or background really sets off the color on the page and the photos.

I agree on the summer theme!  Beachy is not everyone's summer thing.  We love the outdoors and just having summer fun with family and friends.  Let's see summer papers that aren't beachy or covered in florals!!

Yes!  Oh,and I forgot...rainbows.  Not the natural looking ones, but those mini little cutesie ones that cover a whole piece of paper.  I'm over them too!

Carrie I’m with you on purple! I used to feel the same way about pink, but I’ve embraced it more over the years . I don’t mind butterflies, but I’m working on my heritage album right now and it’s an easy go-to embellishment . But I don’t like them covering a patterned paper, or any busy images for that matter.  

For me, I’m pretty certain I’m in the minority on this one…… instant turn off is busy images on patterned paper. For example, if I’m scrapping a baseball layout I don’t need baseballs all over the paper, or if I’m scrapping a pic of someone eating an ice cream cone….I don’t need a literal plethora of ice cream cones on the paper . I navigate to patterns, plaids, stripes, etc which fortunately most manufacturers offer on the “B” side. I like the pics to tell the story, along with embellishments to, well….embellish the story

I totally agree with this! I will use a strip of it SOMETIMES but usually it's just too much!

I like rainbows if they are just one, but as you said not a whole bunch of them over an entire piece of paper.

I am ok with almost everything except I do not dig foil accents on stickers or holographic.  Now, I'm not saying I won't use them but, my struggle is real.  Otherwise, I love using just about any color.   I think everything has its purpose if used in moderation, lol...

I agree with this!  Seems they are always on wedding papers/embellishments, yet I don't know a single person who ever had swans at their wedding. lol

i agree about the holographic.  i wasn't a fan when i was 12 and definitely not now.  hopefully American Crafts has moved past that, because for at least 2 years it was in every.single.collection they produced.

and i can't believe i forgot to mention mushrooms!  i hate mushrooms!  i don't eat them, i'm sure not scrapping with them.  and they look very phallic to me, eww.
