I am thankful that Dolores, Anna Maria's daughter, has had her transplant. Now I pray that all goes well.
Awesome thread Gloria!I am thankful for my parents, who gave me the insight, strength and love to get me to this point in my life where I have two awesome kids, a great BF, a good paying job for my area and all around common sense (most of the time).

I am thankful for my family, friends and my health. I am also thankful that Anna Maria's son was a match for her daughter so she could have her transplant.
I am thankful that I am a 14 year breast cancer survivor. I am so thankful for my 3 little grandchildren - an 18 month granddaughter who lives 2 hours away and 2 -1/2 year boy/girl twin grandchildren who unfortunately live in California, but who I have been lucky to see twice this year and will be with them at Christmas. I live by one of the great lakes (Lake Huron) and have 3 acres of wooded property that looks beautiful right now.
I'm thankful for my silly 3 year old who wants to change his name to David (his daddy's name) - it makes me laugh!
I am thankful for my family, including my two dogs, winnie and pooh.

I have an everyday religion that works for me. Love yourself first, and everything else falls into line.

I am bumping this to the top...we all need to be thankful, and this post was a blast from the past, as they say. So...what are you thankful for today?
I am thankful that this wonderful message board, which I joined in 2003, is still active, alive, and thriving! ACOT is the best!

Oh my YES!!! I'm VERY thankful for the board and Cherries here! I'm thankful for all my friends here too!
I'm also thankful that even though my body is sore and tired today for whatever reason, I'm healthier than I have been in years and that makes me happy. And helps me to remember that I'm having a LOT more good days than bad ones since I had my surgery last September!

my day went to heck in a handbasket but i can dig deep and say that i am thankful for my health
I had the dreaded "Check Engine" light come on in my car. Now, my checkbook is $2850 lighter than it was yesterday. BUT, the car is fixed and running great. I wasn't left alongside the road in a storm and I hope it gives me another 100,000 miles. I'm thankful I had the money to take care of it, even though it will be tight for a while, at least I don't have to sleep in the car.
There are so many things that I'm thankful for, but at the top of the list, I'm thankful for a family that loves me. I'm thankful also, that I found this amazing group of crafters to connect with.
I am thankful for ACOT and this life saving Message Board. I am thankful for my Cherry friends. I love them dearly and they have helped me more than they will ever know.

OCD is not an adjective. It is not a personality quirk. It is not synonymous with being organized. It is a complex and debilitating mental health illness that affects people of all ages and walks of life, and is defined by the presence of unwanted, intrusive thoughts and repetitive actions. I am an OCD warrior and I fight for my son.
I'm thankful that DH and I are healthy after our many health scares that creeped up 2 years ago. I'm thankful that we have decent health insurance to take care of most expenses. I'm thankful that DH's boss was flexible to give DH time off to take care of his health. I'm thankful that I work from home - so I too am flexible enough in my schedule to take time off to take DH to all of his dr appts, including specialist. I'm also thankful that we are both still employed and valuable to our boss/company (DH) and client (me). Thankful that we have a roof over our head and I can put food on the table, and our basic needs are met.
