I use both light room and photoshop. But out of the two light room is my go to.
Always grateful for this journey, Flora

Re: Photo editing software
Photoshop Elements is all I have experience with and I do use PC. For the las few years I've been thinking about switching over to Mac. That would be a huge step.

Re: Photo editing software
Well, I use Photoshop, Lightroom & Elements.

I used to be a PC girl then they kept changing things so much that my files were getting lost or wouldn't work with all the new changes so I switched to Mac - Apple.  Now you couldn't pay me enough to go back to PC.  I have had so few problems with my mac that I'm on the 4th machine and still have my original on that still works fine.

Sorry for the rant.  Nice thing about Adobe software (Photoshop, Lightroom & Elements) is that it works great on both PC & Mac.

Good luck on your quest for software you like.

I use Photoshop when editing on the computer, but I also do a bit of editing on my phone using Google Photos.

Oh, I didn't know this. Would I have to buy a Mac version or does the PC software just transfer over? The files are jpg. So sounds like the learning curve would be practically not existent for my photo editing if I decide to change.

You do have to get photoshop for Mac but all your files will work great on the Mac and you won't have to convert them.  What you know in PC is the same in Mac.

I use Photoshop Elements on my PC and Desktop because of my vision.   I like the bigger image than my Iphone.  Occasionally I use Paint but only to change files that won't open in Photoshop.  After I change the file, I open in PS.  There are so many free ones available too.  Good luck choosing.
