Hi Cherries.... sorry for the delay in posting this month's Use Your Stash challenge. I had a little stay in the hospital for lactic acidosis, dehydration and a migraine and once I was released, I was too exhausted to sit at the computer to do anything! August is a super busy month for me between birthdays, a wedding that I became in charge of, school starting for my nephew... so I'm extending this Use Your Stash challenge to include August AND September.
So for this Use Your Stash challenge, I want you to dig out yellow things (because they remind me of back to school - new pencils, school buses...) whether that's paper, Thickers, enamel dots, brads - your layout needs to be at least 50% YELLOW.... Also, use wooden embellishments - IF you don't have ANY wooden embellishments, PM me and I'll come up with something. Lastly, your journaling needs to be handwritten.... doesn't have to be much but at least 2 lines.
So... the 3 things that need to be included:
At least 50% yellow
Wooden embellishments
Handwritten journaling, at least 2 lines
You may combine this challenge with one other challenge that allows
Layouts or cards accepted for this challenge
Open to paper layouts or cards only this month!
Entries must be posted to this thread by September 30 @ 1159pm EST
Multiple entries are allowed - since this is all about stash busting, there won't be a limit on the number of entries....
A $5 ACOT gift card will be awarded randomly to one participant

Oh, Rebecca, I am so sorry to hear you have been under the weather. But happy to hear that you took care of yourself and are on the way back to good health!

So sorry you were sick and in the hospital. Hope to get this challenge done!
Hi everyone! My name is Susan and I love to scrapbook!
Used 50% or more of yellow.
My wood piece is a tag that I painted yellow.
My journaling is under my picture and for some reason it is very hard to see.

Yellow - not a color I tend to use at least not in quantity. Yet I found myself using it several times this moth! This was a perfect motivator to scrap some photos of the kid's frst day at college as Pitt's colors are blue and gold. Go Panthers!

This is mine using a Glitz Designs patterned paper from 2008. I sprayed my wooden veneer title with yellow spray and did some handwritten journaling.
Here's mine using 50% Yellow, Wooden Veneers, 2+ lines of handwritten journaling.

I used a title with wooden alpha and journaling. I tried a monochromatic yellow page that came out well.
Paper studio, pebbles and stash items. My flowers were punched out.
