How did you find ACOT?? I have been ordering for years. I was looking for a specific paper pack and when I searched it. I was lead to ACOT.
What technique would you like to learn? I sew sometimes but would really like to know how to do more with my layouts that involve the sewing machine.
How many photos do you usually place on a layout? 1 to 3 on single 2- 5 on double page
Are you into digital or paper layouts? no but have recently started buying digital papers/embellishments to print.
What page/theme are you working on right now (or did you complete most recently)? Mixed media journal
Do you have your own scrap room? Yes More of storage room. I work in the dining room. I put up a pub style table.
Have you ever been to a crop, either online or in real life? Yes both. Participated on another forum online. I am able to go to 2 scrapbook retreats a year. Where we can scrapbook all night if we wanted to. Crop at community centers 3/4 times a year.
What gives you the creeps? Mice/rats or the thought of mice or rats.

I believe I found ACOT around 2012 through Google. It had the best website layout for an awesome shopping experience. I have yet to find another online store like it.
I don't create layouts using photos. I create blank layout pages and albums for others to add their photos.
I'm heavily into paper, but I just started my obsession with printing my own paper, digis, embellishments, and elements.
I am working on Mothers and Faters Days items.

Hi again! I used to be on ACOT daily. Then life really smacked me hard and I had to try and catch up with it.
Long story short...Hubby got very sick with several various medical conditions within a few months time....kidney stones, mini strokes, etc and spent a lot of time off and on in the hospital. He ended up having to go on disability, hence we , we couldn't afford to live in CA anymore, we lost our home and had to move within a few weeks time from CA to KS. I got Lyme disease along with some other infections from a tick bite around the same time hubby got sick. So that slowed me down extremely, and yes I am still battling it. I was recently working in the airport cafe here where we live as a cook...town of around 4,000, and had to quit, at least for a time, because the Lyme has had a big effect on my joints and connective tissue, ie tendons, ligaments,and I had to have one of my feet rebuilt 4 weeks ago, so I am hobbling around the house in a cast and want to get back into my scrapping! I have a ton of supplies, which is great, because I can't afford to spend much since we live on hubby's disability check, and the only place we have to get supplies is Walmart. Our nearest 'city' is 150 miles away *L* at least they do have a Hobby Lobby there!
I do remember finding cherries on the site, and have found a few today looking around. Can someone remind me of the rules cherry thing?

How did you find ACOT. I went searching for a forum that was busy with people who were involved so I would have someone to bounce ideas off of and just chat with. I'm a very introverted person so I don't have a lot of friends (they drive me nuts..I'm not into drama), so just having people with the same likes as me is refreshing.
What technique would you like to learn? I scrapbooked years ago, there was never really a technique I studied I just have fun with lots of color and sparkly things...
How many photos do you put in a layout? Depends on what the theme is or how many pictures I have.
Are you into digital or paper layouts? Paper..it's more satisfying to me to get my hands dirty...
What page/theme are you working on? Nothing yet, just getting back in the groove...I need to spend tomorrow organizing my scrapbook room and take inventory of what I have, and what I need to buy...hehehe...

I found ACOT via YouTube. People would post hauls and I’m like what is this? So I popped over and ordered a few things as a guest. It wasn’t until a year later that I watched another YouTuber (Janet at RTS) talking about cherry hunting…..and I was interested in this magical tale she was spinning. So I popped over again and actually registered this time…..then I went hunting for cherries. It’s like a game! A GAME!!!....that serves a purpose to earn credit to buy something that I was totally going to buy anyway. Thennnnnnnn, I discovered the “community” page and the challenges…. Game Changer. What great jumping off points when you are stuck….again, a chance to win a GC for something I’m going to buy anyway. Lol. I have a YouTube channel as well and probably every video I’ve done for the past month or so, you will hear me say “A Cherry on Top”. Yep, I’m a fan.
I’m open to learning pretty much any technique and will try it at least twice before I decide it’s not for me. I’m a paper scrapper and I use anywhere from 1 to 10 photos on a one pager…. I think I probably use 2-3 the most. My husband and I are empty nesters so I turned one of the bedrooms into a scrap room. I’ve never been to a crop but recently signed up to go to the Heather’s Crafty Life (another YouTuber) retreat in May…. I’m so excited and also a little nervous. I’ll probably be one of those that gets one page done in 3 days. Lol. I am an early bird however, Friday evening after work is known as “Scrap Friday” in my house so on Fridays, I’m a bit of a night owl. I have too many points to earn any from this, I just wanted to tell everyone how I found ACOT because I just can’t shut up about it!!!

I've been around for a while but never had the time to visit much on the board. ACOT has been my go-to on line shop for at least 5-6 years if not longer. I'm happy to have a little time to stop by now and hopefully play along with some challenges.

Typically one 5x7 photo and sometimes 2 or 3 smaller ones.

Definitely paper all the way.

I just finished a LO of our youngest grandson that we took on a trip to the Kennedy Space Center last March.

Yes, I am most fortunate to have a great scrap space. We have a finished basement that is half man cave and half she shed! LOL! My son in law put in cupboards and countertop for me...18 feet of space top and bottom!

Yes to both. I have attended a weekend crop twice a year since 2006. We have moved from the area, but my friends and I still attend and get to meet up twice a year. Sometimes, I have them to our home for the weekend. I have also set up and hosted on line crops for different teams that I have been on in the past.

A little of both. I love to work when it's quiet, so I pick the best time for that and go with it. I don't require more than 5 hours of sleep, so I'm awake most of the time!

I have been scrapbooking for at least 15 years. Started with a Creative Memories party. I'm 67 and I scrap my grandkids, the beach, trips.
I have dyslexia and I have trouble following printed directions, getting things straight and writing in a straight line. I compensate by suing magnets, magnetic mat magnetic ruler and a t`square.

Yes! I went to one, IRL crop hosted by the Scrap Gals, and I played with the iNSD 2019 crop here.

Neither! LOL! I get up early because I have to work and/or because I have kids. And I go to bed early because I have to work and because kids. LOL

A cabernet wine, but I'm open to many other options! LOL
I probably first heard of the store from the Scrap Gals podcast. I didn't start participating in this fun online board until I made the DT though! I'm so glad I found it!

This is all over the board! I guess maybe 2 is my most used amount, but I do pages with 1 or 15, it varies a lot!

How did you find ACOT?? I honestly am not sure. I have been papercrafting since 1994, and I stumbled on it through Google I believe. I can say it became my favorite when the "cherry hunting" came about. What can I say, it is fun 
What technique would you like to learn? I want to learn more about Mediums - Gesso, Paints, so forth.
How many photos do you usually place on a layout? I go from one to three at most. Here lately it is one or two.
