Do you ever...
Do you ever look back at your scrapbook pages, read the journaling and wonder what the heck you were talking about?

On a page about my daughter playing Volleyball, I wrote that the 2013 season started without her and she had to work hard to catch up... I don't remember that and I have no idea why.
I wish I would have added a little more information.Image

No, I haven't done that, but I see how easy it could be done.

I am sure I have. . I use to be better at journaling then... Don't do it as much journaling. I wish I did more.   Have you asked your daughter if she remembers?

I used to be indecisive; now I'm not sure.

I look back at most of my early scrapbooks and wish I had included more journaling in general. In the beginning I stuck to the basic who, what, when and sometimes where (if the where wasn't obvious from the photos!).

I did ask her and she was able to tell me. She thought about doing marching band that year instead of volleyball, but changed her mind. That's why the late start. Image

I put a notecard on the back of every layout....detailing things....if there is no journaling and nothing on the layout would explain the moment....I really get detailed on the back....lol

I have in the past so now I will write the full story on the back of the page.  Sometimes things are personal and I know people will be looking at the pages and I don't want to share everything. Sometimes it's just too much to write.   But this way it's always there!

No, not yet.  But with me, I'm pretty sure it's inevitable.  Image
OCD is not an adjective.  It is not a personality quirk. It is not synonymous with being organized.  It is a complex and debilitating mental health illness that affects people of all ages and walks of life, and is defined by the presence of unwanted, intrusive thoughts and repetitive actions. 💙 I am an OCD warrior and I fight for my son. 💙

Great idea especially on a page you are going to go back and finish with the journaling. Its amazing how we can forget so easily. I have to put the date on the back of my pages. I am bad about not putting them in an album til much later and forget the order I wanted them in.

I actually have done that in a few scrapbooks, but on the title/first page in an album I do that in, I put something like a star and say if you see this on a page, there's more journaling on the flipside, or the original photo.  Because sometimes I resize an heirloom photo, and someone may want it when I'm dead and gone, lol.
