In light of today's incredibly sad news, I thought that perhaps there may be some Cherries who would be interested in donating to send flowers to Bibi's husband and family.
Mildred (mgehrke) has graciously volunteered to do the ordering of an appropriate arrangement. Any and all donations would go to her. There is no minimum for this flower arrangement . . . whatever you want to contribute is fine. I know that not everyone is able to contribute. No pressure, no problem. I just thought it was important for her husband and family to know how much she touched the lives of her fellow Cherries. Anyone wishing to contribute should PM Mildred to let her know the amount you wish to contribute. She will also then let you know how to get the funds to her.
If anyone has any questions or comments about this, you can PM Mildred or myself.
Thank you in advance.

OCD is not an adjective. It is not a personality quirk. It is not synonymous with being organized. It is a complex and debilitating mental health illness that affects people of all ages and walks of life, and is defined by the presence of unwanted, intrusive thoughts and repetitive actions. I am an OCD warrior and I fight for my son.
I will try to answer all PMs as they come in, but be patient as well. Most days I have time on my hands at work, but this week has been crazy busy. So I might not be able to answer until after I get home which is 3:30pm CST.
Thank you all for considering this for Bibi's family.

I used to be indecisive; now I'm not sure.

Can we also get an address so we can send cards to her family? Wonderful idea for the flowers!

I will be contacting someone (either Bibi's daughter or Deb) today after work. I will be happy to share the address with you as soon as I get it.gonecamping wrote:Can we also get an address so we can send cards to her family? Wonderful idea for the flowers!

Mine is in the mail!!! Just got home from PO!
I will send a check today, I have your address. Our family is going through this now. I never talk about it but my brother-in-law is home with hospice and doesn't have much time. He has been suffering from pancreatic cancer for a year. I've known him since I was 11 when he started dating my sister at age 16. This is the third person in our family who will pass away from cancer. I wish they would find a cure, too many people suffer. Thank you for doing this.
