I love that place Karen. Debby, the owner, is a wonderful woman and I've known her for years. The store closes at 6pm and we are meeting after work. Maybe next time.
I've never been there, Mom lived closer to the shore, so I go to the LSS in Westbrook which I give 5 stars.  Future visits, I will be staying in Branford, on the coast, even further from Stafford Springs.

Have a nice visit.

Hello ladies. I had a great time with Mildred. She is awesome and so pretty and I want her hair. We talked and laughed she showed me a ton of stuff my camera can do because I'm technically challenged, lol. Here are a few pics and I hope she has to come back to town for training again. Next time we will wear our ACOT shirts Image

Wow I didn't know you worked in Hartford. Also I found out  Sandy (writer lady) lives about 45 min from Hartford. We should get together. What's the name of the scrap store you mentioned? I know New England Scrapbook Company closed. They were in Canton on the Avon line. I miss them a lot but they still have crops at the Simsbury Inn. Treasure Moments is in Watertown not far from Avon but I haven't been to there store. They have a mobile unit too and I met them when the came to a crop. It's really cool, it's an RV completely re-done to look like a store inside. It's very cool.

I still go to Inspiration Station in Stafford Springs. It's about 40 minutes from me. She has been in business a long time. Let me know if you ever want to meet at a scrapbook store. We can have coffee or something Image

Sandy we should meet too. Are you 45 min south or north of Hartford? Sometimes I go to the PaperCraft Clubhouse in Westbrook CT. Are you near there? It's a little over an hour from me and I go a couple times a year. I just went last month to a crop.

PaperCraft Clubhouse is about 40 - 45 minutes southwest of me and Hartford is north of me. I live close to the shoreline, near Mohegan Sun Casino.  I want to go to the Clubhouse, but I have trouble getting a ride from dh and ds. I can't drive that far anymore and there isn't much for them to do there... lol.

I will probably be back in CT in July 2015 for our family reunion.  Would love to meet up with you at the Papercraft Clubhouse In Westbrook, I have a favorite restaurant in Old Saybrook that I go to as well, Johnny Ads, love their clam rolls.  I usually spend a couple hours in the LSS, be prepared.
