I did Princess Sour Cherry using one photo...

The other thing - besides the one photo - is how you minimalized your title too - "Just Jack" says so much in two words, just like the photo does. Thanks for doing the challenge! (Sorry I'm late getting back to these!!!)

Everyone's work is so pretty! I saw your amendment we could do both so I decided to redo my favourite pic of me as a child with my grandma and submit it for the Princess Sour Cherry portion... but when I tried to choose Cherryland challenge while uploading it said " more than one submission not allowed for this challenge" so just putting it here, hope that's good?

That's perfectly alright, I have no idea why it won't let you accept more than one layout - it's not checked to limit - but. . . . I'll count them all, no worries!!THAT being addressed, I love the colors of this layout! I really love the deep dark purples wiht the pastels and brights. REALLY PRETTY . And the frame in the background and the forward frame as well. NICE. Thanks for playing again!!

Here's mine for the Princess Maraschino. Something I've never done before is to use the 'word cloud' and I combined this with the Journaling Challenge.

Yeah Deanna, I've tried without success fo fix it - but I'll make sure they are both counted. Geeze!! I dunno. . . . . This layout is so pretty - I love the orange - we are seeing so much of it in the gallery, and it's my fave color, so I use it a lot myself! You could have used any color, but I am sure none would have gone as well as the color scheme you chose. Thanks for playing again - and sorry I'm late responding!

I chose the Princess Sourcherry this month and focused on one photo only.

How pretty a layout, and how girly!! They do look like they are thick as thieves, lol!! They are adorable! Lovely layout, love the papers you chose. Thanks for doing the challenge, and sorry I'm just getting to the responses!!

I picked Princess Sour Cherry because I love being alone. Here is mine using one photo. It is my husband in grade school in the 1970's.

I did Sour Cherry earlier in the month but here's one for Maraschino too! Like others before me, the gallery wouldn't let me upload it. Anyway, I combined this with the Book of Me challenge. The new technique I used was using gesso with a stencil on the background. I've never done one of these "messy" backgrounds and I have to say, it was a lot of fun!

Yep, I'll be sure to count them both, no worries!! And I love your "messy"???? You really think it's messy??? LAYOUT!!! I love it!!! I worry too much, need more control, but love the look of this!! I'll have to let go sometime, too!! Thanks for doing the challenge!!! AGAIN!!

Hi Sher! Thanks for the challenges! I had some good pictures, great orders that had come in from ACOT, so was nice to have some direction to get started by reading through the challenges. ACOT rocks. Thanks for doing them.

What a great layout with so many layers!! You don't need any stitching on this - it's perfect!! And the details are all brought out with the one photo and clean slate effect. Love you whites! Thanks for doing the challenge, and it's wonderful to have you joining in!!

Here's mine! Combining with the Use your Stash challenge since technically the requirements fit.



I originally started this page with the intentions of being Princess Sour Cherry and use just one photo. But the page took on a life of it's own and I wound up doing BOTH challenges. I found this peacock feather laying on the ground one day while shopping somewhere and figured I could use it. I've had this for 3 years I guess and while I haven't been scrapping that whole time, I've just now figured out what I wanted to use it for. It just kind of happened and I love it! I've never used feathers on a LO, and I've never inked or distressed stickers/sticker alphas, and I used the edge of a marker to do my colored inking, and I've never done that before. Also, I rubbed some of the ink on my finger and then just kind of smeared it on the paper.

I saw where you said we can do both options now if we wanted, and while it's not two separate LOs, I did do both, so was just wondering if that counted for the new rule or if it has to be 2 separate pages. either way, thanks for the challenge!!

Carolyn, it was never specified, so if you got both in this layout- which you did, and very nicely too, I might add - no reason it can't count twice!!! Nice job, and I've found myself liking peacock feathers again for some reason myself. I loved them back in the day, and now my eyes are going to them again. Love the layout, and the Asian feel was accomplished. Thanks for doing BOTH princesses!!

I decided to do both of your challenges because I definitely knew that I never liked slide frames years ago, couldn't do anything with them, and now that Crate The Pier came out with theirs, I'm in love with them. I gold heat embosed the second one that used to be white, then added some gold pearl trim to each of them...yes, on a lake layout - glitter too - lol! I just do what I like I guess. Besides Crate's frames, the rest is mostly Simple Stories I Heart Summer. Thanks for the challenge!

Glitter and sparkle makes perfect sense to me with water photos, and I love how you accented them all - made them look "sand dipped with some shells catching the wet sand!" You do stunning work!! Thanks for adding to the challenge - and I too have a pack of these slide frames. I think I'm in love with them because they are larger and easier to place! BTW, the little sequins of "water" look great too!!
