Just WHERE do you put them?

So, I was wondering, where do you ladies put your LOs when they're finished? Do you have dedicated albums that they go into immediately - or at the end of the week or other time frame, or do you put them in a big binder and sort them later?

Mine that I make sit in a pile away from mess sources (sticky fingers, coffee mugs) and then I have a 12x12 cardboard box I move them to sometimes (it's like one of those photo boxes, I ordered a kit off of HSN years ago and it came in this, and I Just love it). I do have a 3ring 12x12 binder that I put random pages into. Otherwise, I do have a few dedicated albums (outdoors, family together) that I can put LOs into. I just bought a new one today for my Disney Pages, since I have enough of those I'm going to start putting those into their album.

And since I just started scrapping again, I need to get an album for Owen.

So, where do you put them?

If I'm home I put them in albums right away, but if I'm at a crop or a retreat I have a plastic 12x12 container I put them in.

I tried to place them in the appropriate albums w/in a week or two. And I don't work on the same album day in/out. I get bored really easy, so I've got between 4-8 "open" projects. I'm still working on my MIL's album (her and my mother get an album for Mother's Day. She lives in 1750 miles away, so it buys myself some time), my brother's wedding, my friends, Christmas, me and DH, and the doggies.

I have a small stack of finished layouts and put them in their appropriate albums every 2-3 weeks.

Have separate albums for each of the 7 grandkids, an album for each of our vacations, and DH and I both have 'book of me' albums.

I try to put them away in the appropriate albums right away, but the key word is try. I did just finish an album this weekend, and that one was already put together so I was ahead of the game there. If I have LOs left out of albums, I use the plastic 12x12 folders that has a snap on them. I put them in those according to which album they go in. I don't scrap in order (I am too far behind still to do that), but some day I will be able to (I hope).

I have two huge stacks of layouts that need to go into albums. I need to spend a day (or two) putting them away!!!

I'm bi-scraptual, so only my paper pages go in albums. I also have the luxury of not having anyone in my space most of the time. So when I get a stack that I can't manage anymore, I will put away in their respective albums.

My digi pages are stored by month in a single folder on my EHD, and of course posted on Facebook, Pinterest and here!

Mine that are in order, go into albums right away. If I skip to something else, for inspiration, or for a challenge, they get put in a bag, and into a 12x12 box till I reach the spot in my books, then it goes in.

I have a list so I know which sleeve they go in, keeps them in order since I scrap out of order. They sit out for a week or so but then go directly in the correct albums. I have three open ones at all times. "Us" "ds1" "ds2" does that make sense?

I have several piles of pages that were sitting on the floor - now moved to a shelf - I sort them into albums about 3 times a year

This is where I have my layouts stored. An IKEA bookcase on turned on its side. I don't have enough albums and I am not happy with my post-bound albums so I am going to the 3 ring albums from WRMK's and stampin up. I have them in page protectors and I did at least get them sorted by themes in the cubby holes. The first two on the top left are just Disney. Then I have Halloween, Christmas, school and misc. sorted in the other cubes. The albums all have pages in them too. Need a really good sale on albums. LOL

I don't scrap in order so I just put them in 3 ring binders as I do, at least for paper. I haven't printed a whole lot of my digital layouts yet, but I do the same with them so far!

If I am scrapping at home, they go into the proper album right away. If I am at a crop, they go in page protectors in an Iris box and get put away when I get around to unpacking. If I have driven to the crop, sometimes I take the album with me depending on how much room I have. I fly to crop with friends in New England about once a year and have to limit my supplies due to weight limits/packing, I don't carry the albums. I also never ever ship my completed pages in packed bags, they always go in my carry on.

Earlier this year, I converted my 12x12 pages into D-ring albums. I had a couple of birthday gift cards to get me started. Then, each week I went armed with coupons and got an album at 40 or 50 % off, after 2 months I had all I needed. I mainly did it for space purposes, in some cases, 2 and 3 post bound albums fit into a single D-ring. I have a dedicated bookcase in my living room for these albums and it was stuffed before, now I have some room in it.

I have albums I put them in, but sometimes I have a pretty big stack before I get them put away.

I also figure that since I don't scrap in order, and I scrap for myself, it's my kids' job to sort them and do whatever they want with them after I'm dead! lol

I pile them and since I don't scrap in order and work on all different themes at once, about once a month I put them into albums. Once the album is full I label them and add to my bookshelf.

I have quite a stack of completed pages in a corner of my work area - some in plastic bags, some in plastic storage. I usually work with 2 page layouts, so I guess I'm waiting to complete the 2nd page before I put them into albums. Not the best plan as they are really piling up now. And I worry they should be in an album so the photos are in a more protected environment. Problem is - I already have over a dozen albums full. Oh well, I get around to putting some away soon.

I have several of the 3 ring and so far love them. They seem to be sturdier than my post-bound albums. Also, I do not scrap in any order or theme. The 3 ring albums are easier to add the pages in order without having to take all apart. They also seem to hold the same for me. It all depends on the thickness of my layouts.
