What do you remember buying/using from way-back-when?
here are a few that came to mind:
magic mesh
12" border stickers
color cutter - marker and blade in one pen
Adornaments (aka carpet fuzz)
If you've been scrappin' awhile, I'm sure you can add to this list
eyelets (if that's what they were called - I still have a TON of them), fiber - eyelash yarn, and yes - magic mesh!
I have never heard of this before, so I don't have any and have never used it.
Mildred - Mom to 2 girls and a husband (I tell people that I am a single mom of 3. Ages 59, 37 and 31) lol. And a proud Grandma to Orahn (7) Sawyer (5) and Mazie (3).
I still have a stash of stickers, a few are the border type.
Brads are something I have oodles of in every color and size and not using very often.

Deco scissors. I actually do still use mine though!
- Valerie/stateless
YEp I have some magic mesh.... I still like it too.
Eyelets are about the only thing I can remember old.... I never got into using them.
and the old time stickers that are not stacked or embellished in some way...still have them

I still have some Magic Mesh....somewhere. :-D
And some of those things that I think were called page toppers.
Shakers, deco squares, and lots of fibers.

Hey, I just used my Magic Mesh the other day!! I used some black on a "grungy" boy page, lol, and I think it looked pretty good!
I do have lots of eyelets that I don't use, though I like the large ones from We R Mem Keepers. Something I came across the other day in my stash were some printed die cuts: I can't remember who made them--they are of little kids, and I don't think all their faces are printed . . . like no nose? Anyway, they were cute . . . 11 years ago, lol.

Wow! Yeah, I still have some mesh (only bought 1 roll but never used it up). Have a binder full of stickers and premade borders that I do use occasionally. Never got the color cutter or eyelets but I've got some fiber left.
What about foam stamps and acrylic paint? Also the huge 'monogram' alpha stickers... those are the only others that come to mind. Oh I also have quite a few vellum-style quotes that I don't often use.
I do remember Magic Mesh - I used to cross stitch on it even, for my layouts.
What was that silly little thing that was like a clear round peg and had a blade on it - we all bought them and never used them? Same as the one basic grey Notch thing.
Embellishment wise - the epoxy stickers with the glitter and "fluid" in them that dried up faster than you could blink?

I still have some Magic Mesh! Love that stuff. Maybe we need to have an oldies but goodies challenge at the crop?
Laura
I must be a scrappy hoarder:-D I still have magic mesh, decorative scissors, eyelets and tons of stickers in my stash
Gail
Ok - I still have magic mesh, eyelets, and a stash of stickers and fibers!
The early Creative Memories stickers (by Mrs. Grossman's) are still around, I think, but improved.
And I still use my Coluzzle to cut circles and other shapes. I don't use the Coluzzle alphas though, got rid of them.
Did anyone use sandpaper to create the distressed look?
I know I used a zipper once on a layout!

I gave up on sandpaper but I keep several nail files around with varying grits for the same effect! lolblfonty wrote:Ok - I still have magic mesh, eyelets, and a stash of stickers and fibers!

Gosh I remember when 12x12 paper was really 11.5x11.75 or something like that. And when all paper was one sided
