I've been scrapbooking for 10 years and looking for a new place to hang my hat for chatting about scrapbooking.
I'm a pretty clean line, iconic scrapbooker. I use the Cricut on almost every layout.
My fave brands are American Crafts, Bo Bnny, and Graphic 45 (yes, I know...not clean lines, but I don't use all the extras embellies with it).
I scrapbook for my 2 grown childrens familes and will begin working on Heritage albums soon.
Right now, I am concentrating on cleaning out my stash as I set up my new scrapbook room and area. I'm a social scrapper, so I like to be in the same room with my DH. Can't wait to get back to the nitty gritty of scrapping at home.
I attend 12 crops a year, at least and 3 or 4 retreats.
Looking forward to talking "scrap" with some new peeps.
Carol

Ah. My dad was stationed at Ft Bragg back in the late 60's. I haven't been back, but think of it fondly (sometimes). Especially when everyone is complaining about the snow. I remember the times we had school holidays because we couldn't get to school for too much snow. The schools on base did not provide buses, so we had to walk to school. Period. No mom or dad driving us. And if there was too much snow, even the teachers couldn't get to school.

Welcome Carol! I am pretty much a digi scrapper these days, but I still love to play with paper for altered objects and paper crafting. I have a very small scrap room in my house, but it's my space and I love it. I don't have any friends in real life that scrap, so the gals here are my scrappin' buddies! There's not a division between digi and paper here though...we're all one big happy family! My nephew used to live in North Carolina (like Laurie's dad, he was stationed at Fort Bragg but has recently been transfered to Virginia). My son lives in Georgia....so a trip down "south" is hopefully in the plans for early fall!
Welcome to ACOT, and looking forward to seeing your work!

Welcome Carol - we are quite alike in many ways - Joined here last year and have been chatting "a little" ever since! Love the girls!! I've been scrapping for almost 20 years and my favorite brands are the same as yours!! I have to admit I'm not clean lines - I mix it up - but if you are a Graphic 45 gal, so do you.
I have ONE grown child, but very close to my brother and his family, so I scrap a lot of my niece and them as well. I have started to put a dent in the Heritage photos my mom left to me - some of the few untouched by the flood in PA I was in. So my "stash" was taken care of for me.
I hit the crops basically that my BFF vends at - and she's very active and a high seller for Close to My Heart - so she does a fair amount and I go along for company. She's usually so busy that bringing another friend of ours is the solution, so I am the one with company.
Big introduction here - we aren't Peeps - we are "Cherries!" (Just kidding, we'll answer to anything!!!)
WELCOME!!
Well Hi Carol! I am your neighbor to the south! So glad you landed at this site, we are a great bunch of ladies, and the talent here, well....just browse thru the galleries!
