For the last two years, DH has been looking for another job while working with his current employer. His employer, to put it NICELY, is quite difficult and employees don't stay long. Anyways, DH has applied for all AutoCad jobs in Corpus Christi, south Texas, branching out to Houston, San Antonio, and Dallas and even applied for ones out of state - as far North as Michigan! He has a great "first interview" but never a call back. Well, last Thursday morning, he received a call from a company that's here in Corpus Christi, asking for an interview for Friday. So DH went Friday afternoon at 3:30pm. He said it went very very well.
The guy said he'd call DH back by Monday.
So....by 11:30AM this morning, he got the call back that he GOT THE JOB!!!! I am sooooooooo happy for him! He will start in two weeks, and will be making $4.50 MORE an hour. And the icing on the cake??? He will be only ONE MILE away from home!
I am doing the happy dance right now!
